You don't need a key. You can just go to Origin and get it

Don't try go to Battlelog until you have the game installed, as it has to register you before you're given access

A nice little guide on the nvidia site, it also shows what the video preset settings actully do (a lot of people think they don't work).

The performance chart is spot on for me, due to my overclock i have basically a default 580 and do get 40/60 at 1080p on Ultra with the lowest i've seen being 37fps on Caspian.

 

It was working ok yesterday,i dont think ill bother playing this anymore,i have seen enough to be honest,overall i think its quite good with huge potential,will be purchasing from game in the high street on the 28th as i already have a deposit down to guarantee me a copy.

 

Now all we need a someone to make a custom exe or script so that when you click BF3 it will start Origin and launch battlelog logged in and then shut Origin . I'll bet someone after launch will do the above or simply do an exe that will just open battlelog.

Hopefully people won't spread this to much or they might fix it .

 

Have to agree 100% with the menu comment. I spent ages trying to find out how to change keys (which needs fixing also) and found out by accident.
An option screen is the 1st screen I look for when launching any new game.

Don't know whether I'l bother continuing to play the beta just for that crap Metro map.

They should at least use something decent like they've done on previous battlefield games. They used good maps for the Beta.

BF2 = Gulf of Oman iirc, 2142 = Verdun, BC2 = I actually can't remember lol

And Metro for BF3?? Not even any vehicles in it. Brutal.

 

^These guys are saying it takes hours to get on a server...

 

That is how i also have it pre-ordered, prefer actual shops.

Was going to cancel it as metro didn't convince me i should return to MP gaming, but will wait to see how Caspian is first, as that is the map that really interests me, and does look fantastic, as well as looking nice too.

now the beta is worthless..

 

caspian was full of snipers lol, really boring walking in the middle of the valley and just getting shut down. basically if you didn't travel with a vehicle you're done on that map. it's too big.

 

Because:

A) Metro is a **** map. Its nothing like what a Battlefield map should be like.

B) Caspian looks to be a great map, but never got the chance to play it (servers were always full).

I'll probably still play it a bit, but I wanted to play Battlefield 3, not CoD in BF3 clothing.
