its not very logical to JUDGE someones impression as FALSE man. As there is no REAL TURTH or FALSE for human beings according to some philosophers. If he got that impression, well, then it becomes his reality. and u cant change it from this from with this way. thats my opinion indeed.

We're talking about if the image is actually blurred or not. The research paper shows that it's not blurred. Then the statement "it just blurs the whole screen" is false. That isn't a matter of impression, it can be measured :p

but if he is like me, who has EYE SEING issues, then its the way he see :nerd:

for real it happens to me. in some games...so maybe thats the what he gets too..so thats REAL for him. or game is buggy?

i remember two days ago in BF3, i zoomed my weapon, then un zoomed. but still fcking all screen was blur but the only center of the screen a small part was not..such bug :nerd:

    Battlelog Offline?
    anyone else?

btw...thats why i hate battlelog..If its down, how u gonna play?

Thats why we need an internal ingame server browser..This is sooo stupid..

    edit:

Battlelog works again..but still i dont like that feeling at all..This soolks like u CANT play that game at all without an internet connection...And thats bad..For the campaign i mean.

    @biggie: Exactly what I'm talking about ;)

@xendance: As soon as I turn that post AA on all the detail and "sharpness" of textures and objects is missing. I don't really care if it blurs the whole picture or just the "vital parts", maybe just all areas with sharp contrast changes.
The effect stays the same, the impression that the picture gets blurry. It's just as annoying as overdone motion blur.
Thing is I don't see a reason to use highly detailled, high resolution textures if they look like any low res texture due to the filtering applied.
With some config tweaking there was a way to get real AA in Crysis 2 and enjoy both a crisp, highly detailled picture without jaggies everywhere. I know there won't be a possibility to use SSAA here but I still hope for some AA method that keeps all the detail and still gets rid of the most severely jagged edges.

Yup I did say the picture looks nicer with post aa off , fxaa does blur the picture look at fear 3 that looked horrible with fxaa.

4*normal aa looks fine in bf3

battlelog is updating, also I quite like it, the server browser seems fast and nice to use and I love all the live stats and match stats, I do wish I didn't have to run origin too though seems un needed.

edit: I have no work today so if anyone fancys a game join me on battlelog :)

2xaa (no aa is the same framerate dunno why) and all on..instead of hbao i use ssao..resolution i use 1600x900.

GFX Card is oced ingame to 866mhz..with more i had some issues...My cpu is liek in my specs..3.8ghz..And let me tell u..all 4 cores are at 100% all the time ingame..
    bad ass...

    caspanian border i have around 30 - 50 frames..its laggy a bit...
    Metro outside i have 40 - 60 Fps..inside metro i get around 60 - 80 frames..vram is totaly full...

lets say it like this..on medium it will run ok i guess..
    I do want a new GFX..hehe..

    hope that helps..

i post some screens with FPS meter in bit for u. so u can see it urself...I also uploading a video from caspanian border with fps OSD enabled so u can see better what i mean by laggy...

    should take me 10 min..

his vdeo card over clocked a lot though so take that into consideration.I remember that with my set up it was choppy on high with no aa and afx8.but I think the choppiness is cause from the game put extremely heavy load on the cpu and not both cpu and gpu and hopefully i'm right about that.on a side note atm i'm over clocking my gpu as well to see if that helps but at this point anything is worth a try.

    All Ultra
    HBAO: On
    Postprocess: OFF
    AA: MSAA 2x
    AF: 16x

    OP Metro 32p:

    Outside: 60-83 fps
    Inside: 75-85 fps
    Lowest I seen: 55 fps

    Caspian Borders 64p:

    Outside 55-64 fps
    Inside -------
    Lowest I seen: 50 fps

    *** This is using 2x 465 GTX @ 800-1950

Gonna try with a single 580 GTX @ 900-2400 later today. Post processing kills my fps on the 465s so hope the 580 can manage it.
