And that's about time, Windows XP is now 10 years old, they can better take
the time to make the Drivers better for Windows Vista and Windows 7.

apparently this is the official Beta driver, 275.27 was more like a pre-beta release

    edit:

P-state looks more under control for me, i dont have any issues like with 280.xx and that crazy long P0 full3d clock bug.. temperature atm is 38-39C @ FF7.0

Dirt2,3 is hopefully still under control.

i made a quick benchmark and overall im very pleased with 285 branch, finally :)

Ok, there is still a bug or 2, 3 but nothing serious and all these small bugs are noted and on their to fix list.. So everything is great :nerd:

Hard Reset (at least for the demo) shows high and even usage across both cards in SLI but that is deceptive since disabling SLI and using only one card gives about the same performance or better. I am basing this off the demo. I don't have the game yet.

And also, there is this: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?p=25212272&postcount=71

I hope someone tests and compares both 285.27 and 285.38 when the BETA is released on a gtx 570 to see if it's truly +38% performance increase. I mean let's say you're getting 50 fps, 38% of that is 19 fps so you should be sitting at ~69 fps which is pretty damn huge increase...

Does that mean at lower resolution, you're going to get even more performance? Also, does that mean the requirements should be changed since the game runs better with this driver or was the driver kept in mind when deciding what the requirements would be?

Guess we'll find out soon enough!

Then why not install it with a Monitor connected with a VGA or DVI or HDMI
to your Computer and then try to install the driver, or just simple install the
    driver manually?

Uninstall your driver and then do this:

You right click on Computer and then Properties and then Device Manger
and then Display adapters and then right click on your Geforce GTX 580 and
Update Driver Software... , then Browse my computer for the driver
    software
and then click on Browse... and go to the folder of you driver and
then go to the folder Display.Driver, and click ok and then Next.

And if that do not work do this:

Right click on Computer and then Properties and then Device Manger and
then Display adapters and then right click on your Geforce GTX 580 and
Update Driver Software... , then Browse my computer for the driver
    software
and then click on Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my
    computer
and then click on Have Disk... then Browse... and go to the folder
of you driver and then go to the folder Display.Driver and click open and
then OK, now you see your Geforce GTX 580 and or click on Geforce
GTX 580 and you click Next.

If this do not work, then i think nothing will work, yes maybe reinstall
    Windows.

tried 20 games with the new drivers, they're great. 2fps faster overall than the previous ones.

I haven't had alot of time with these, but so far so good in BC2. One thing I have noticed is coming from 266.xx my idle temp has dropped from 50s to 43 degrees. It typically sat at 40s during the cooler months, but over the last few weeks consistently idled in the 50s. I figured it was the hot Alabama weather, but a 10 degree drop since yesterday? My load temps are the same, hovering 70 degrees.
