NVIDIA Graphics Driver v300.1 beta listed on GeForce.com but no download link...?

What does it say?
It tells you that a 300 driver is listed but no link is up for it.
Nvidia didn't come with any explanation for it so far.
So either the driver got pulled back in last second, or this was made on purpose to attract visitors to geforce.com instead of nvidia.com where most of us look.
The waste of time only exists if you keep looking into this thread to see a download link to the 300.xx driver instead of waiting for a new thread that announces a 300.xx release, which will come as soon they are available for download.
If you don't understand that, you just got to live with reading spam.

We do understand the title dudette.
However this thread belongs in the fantasy section.

When the drivers are release they are released, there is no official word from Nvidia on this or about what it may contain therefore it's all speculation/fantasy.

Nvidia didn't put it up there to gain numbers to their website. It was only spotted because some people have nothing better to do than to sit on the Geforce website and refresh the page every 5 seconds just so they can be the first one to create a new thread for a bunch of drivers.

I find it more amazing that people cant ask their questions or post their issues about a driver in the driver thread that was posted for that particular driver. They have to post a seperate thread. For instance the "280.26 whql driver was released" Thread followed by "is the 280.26 driver causing oerheating?" Why couldnt that question have been asked in the driver thread? It was'nt necesary to create a new thread for that.

 

Normal expectation is that awakens the magic number "3".

My reply was to someone whining about that he used a minute to go through a thread with a title already stating that there is nothing to come for, and then using another minute whining about it.

Your 5 second theory went down the drain, the driver revision number has been on the site for a minimum of 4 days.
So as I said either there is a 300.xx driver in the hands of Nvidia or they use it as a stunt to boost the statistics on different search indexes.
Cause I can't believe that Nvidia has hired nabs to manage their site.

Just get over yourself. Theres no spam threads. Its just you guys being sour because this driver doesnt exist. If you actually had a working braincell you would have noticed that the name of the thread did'nt say there was a download link for the driver with a question mark at the end of the title name. :bang::bang:

Fps is not everything.
I have other issue with the current drivers available for my card.
But will try to get that sorted with the driver team.

We all know its not real, we have done since page 1, since then its just been a speculation thread.

Maybe it would be better in a different section, but honestly...it doesn't matter.

It the same with hardware speculation threads, some people just don't get them, and always want them closed.

 

It's not game specific, more related to PCI-E Gen switching and 3DVision.

 

I don't get this higher than thou 'close the thread now' nonsense. It's a discussion. A similar situation is when people have a disagreement and the word 'troll' gets thrown around without any knowledge of what it really means.
