There is nothing more irritating than a thread about a driver which doesn't exist yet regardless if it was there for 5 seconds or not...

I find it funny tbh, I bet some nvidia it guys are laughing their a$$ off.
I'm still convinced that they did this on purpose since the feedback of latest drivers basically ended up in a flame war.
They know that people's are expecting a new beta driver, so they did this as a late April fool.
Poor manuelG I guess he's being blasted by pms and requests on the matter haha.

 

Notice in the release notes, only Fermi (Geforce 400 and 500) cards are supported, does this mean that soon Nvidia will drop support for the 200 and older, series of video cards in there driver packages?

no it won't happen any time soon..


But it could be only nv fermi specific so they eliminate some of the bugs completely..


They did that a couple of times in the past with 19x.xx and 1-2 times with 26x.xx drivers.

You don't get, do you? I and others keep coming to this thread if the exact driver is online or leaked somehow. We are not after these spams we are after the driver which may be active to download. Capisce? :banana:

honestly i only care about performance and stability, last released driver i believe was 280.36 right?
well if they release new drivers v280.37 increasing performance in games without undermining stability, then its better than a phantomatic v300 with nothing to offer but hype.

v300.xx may be a nice number but it doesn't mean its gonna be a fantastic release.

infact i think the owls right now must be standing on nvidia's shoulders and the drivers are going to suck and disappoint everyone, me included.

- we must expect the worst in order to lessen the disappointment.

no but if its from a different driver branch then it can fix some of the issues that weren't here before.


280.26 are r280_11-9? idk atm

280.36 are r280_19-19 and they are different than 280.26, less bugs..
