An appeal for PhatKat

I agree, if anyone had a problem with her banning they should've contacted a mod privately, this thread is like pouring gasoline on fire.

 

I guess that's a matter of opinion, but there might have been more to it, I only read a few posts.

Either way she's a fun person to have around the forums so I was hoping Finch would give her another chance but nvldakfjsad;lfa;, or whatever his name is, has made that very unlikely.

 

It's not whining, it's just stating an opinion. Getting banned for that is absurd, and it's not like she ever actually insulted people who believed differently.

 

I'm still no closer to an explanation on whats going on...

 

Hmmm, from what I understand it's all related to that porn thread. Sure it's slightly a touchy issue and if PhatKat is a girl, I can see where the problem lies. For us guys, a pornstar thread seems like nothing, but for another gender it may be uncomfortable for them.

Personally, from what I read, a ban wasn't necessary and maybe could have been avoided if both sides could have struck a compromise. However, obviously easier said than done right?

Unfortunately, what was said between the mods and PhatKat were not public, so we have no clue what actually has happened.

She disagreed with having one on a tech oriented forum, which there's nothing wrong with. But I guess having an opinion and feeling strongly about it is a bannable offense now?

 

I believe she just protested it.

 

I'm not surprised Phat got the boot, almost every thread I've seen her involved in, was pure obscene trolling. She might have issues due to things in the past but damn you don't come and stir crap with misguided views on a general forum consistently after repeated warnings to back off. And you nvlddmkm are an idiot for some of the comments in this thread. Pure and simple.

 

How did she protest it? Like in what manner? Made a post "I protest this thread"...did she report spam every post with what she didn't like?

 

I disagree, the last person I saw her troll had it coming.

But look where she/he was posting his/her opinion. One thing is going to the porn thread and discuss it, and another thing is just bringing up the issue on other places that didnt had a lot to do with the porn stars thread just cuz he/she was pissed off.

This. Every time she's ever "flamed" or "trolled" someone, they always 100% deserved it.

 

Come on guy click on Phatcat's name/profile and then view all posts.. Go back several months not just the porn thread.
Investigate for youself and form your own opinon based on what you have read..

Quite a few people talk about it like they know what happened, if they know what happened it would take 2 mins for them to say. It would take hours to re-read 25 pages of a porn thread, let alone another. And there are so many images that are huge the you can't even quick scroll it.

 

I asked Phatkat if they had a sex change/hormone therapy, last they said was no. So unless they do that, they are still the same sex they are born with.
