This looks awesome. I hope the LEDs aren't as bright as the ones in their keyboards.

My Steelseries Xai died on me. I'll wait until a review comes out for this one.

You're not a real man until you overclock your input peripherals!

Most of Razer/Logitech/Steelseries/<insert other brands> gaming mouse users has been 'overclocking' their input peripherals to run at 500/1000hz USB polling for the past 5 years or more.

I thought the 1000Hz polling rate was standard for Razer mice. I didn't know it was an "overclock". Besides I was referring to precision, DPI or whatever, not polling rate.

Bah, if need faster speed go for ps/2 port. Overclocking USB mouse bandwidth is kinda weird.

Razer's probably going to see this and then make a mouse with Kal El.

USB polling rate and bandwidth are 2 different thing.

Polling rate is to reduce the interval (latency) between each consecutive check.
But the bandwidth remain the same.

looks kinda like a microsoft 7000 mouse except with a 32bit arm processor. i like it.

for the past 4-5 years i've been using only MS HABU mouse, my absolute favorite (its based on razer afterall) but i'm willing to buy this Sensei mouse and try it.

i'm extremely picky when it comes to mice, even though i tried every brand and model under the sun, the microsoft ones are the only product i'd buy, i guess its a matter of personal preference when it comes to peripherals.

will get the sensei in september for my birthday.

Nope, theoretically it should be faster due to the hardware interrupt, but at the end of the day, USB with 500/1000Hz outperforms it.

Hilbert, can i make a suggestion.

Have someone whose first language is English to review the news articles you post.

No offence but every time i read these there are grammar and spelling errors all over the place and being dyslexic its hard enough to read these things when it is all correct spelling and grammar wise.

But yeah.. 5000+DPI is overkicll.. and 11K DPI?! wtf lol

Does SteelSeries mice come with weights? If they don't, how heavy are they? I need a new mouse, because my beloved G9 is finally starting to give out after three years. Power keeps cutting off.

Did they fix the broken left clicker that went on all three mice I own by them? If not, you could put a nuclear reactor in this thing and it would still be worthless.
