Well now AMD expanded their product line with apparantly memory modules. New and quietly introduced are AMD Radeon DDR3 memory for systems the Entertainment memory is already for sale in Japenese stores: AMD... More...
already for sale @ ncix.com http://ncix.com/products/?sku=62322&vpn=199-999411&manufacture=AMD plain vanilla memory. nothing to see here folks. =p
I don't get it, why name this Radeon?. When I hear Radeon it's GPUs. Bad move from AMD. I hope this is only experimental.
I think this is a brilliant move on AMD's part! They have the name recognition of the Radeon brand so why not sell it as such? I think it is pretty much a no brainer that AMD radeon memory is different then a Radeon video card. This will give them extra revenue which is what they really need right now. They can't keep losing market share and money year after year. At some point they have to be creative and this is a great way to bring in millions to the AMD bank!
But look at the price. $10 bucks for 2GB of memory? LOL Nothing to see here? You blind and stupid at the same time?
No need to insult now! Timings and such may not be the best, but for memory this cheap you can't complain.
He's wrong, but I'm sure in general usage scenarios you wouldn't be able to tell the difference very easily. Lol you're going to get in trouble for saying things like this, even if they might be warranted. Try not to derail this thread.
Maybe, but I just asked a question. Either way, I reported his post, I hate doing that to someone that isn't a spambot, but he does this insult thing all the time. Sorry to distract, I return you to your regularly scheduled thread: Slow memory is slow. But cheap as hell.
