Have you ever head about Windows Server x86 that can do this? Even Windows 2000 Server was able to address 64 gb of ram. I won't explain the technology how it works; regarding Win Vista/7 with more than 4 gb of ram read this

I've found recently RadeonPro causes more problems than anything.

I uninstalled it a while ago myself.

Uninstalled radeon pro and sure enough crossfire is working. Strage as I had no BFBC2 profile in RP anyway, the only active thing I have in the global profile was tripple buffering.

Can anyone comment on CPU usage with this? For me, it has definitely increased with 11.8.

My 1055t at 3.5 is at 100% all 6 cores towards the end of a BC2 game at I get a serious bottleneck.

Oh lord thankyou, after 5 days fighting with my old 2010 drivers on AMD 6970M.
No other update would work... and well the newest preview does wonders.
    Thankyou so much!

I've owned my 5970 since 12/09, recently added 5850 to the mix. These are by far the best drivers to date that I've used. BC2 flawless. Crysis 2, I can finally play without issue, nice frame rates on resonable settings and DX11.

I've started Crysis 2 SP over again so I can finally enjoy playing the game.

I think Crysis 2 DX11 is working alot better with these new drivers. I have tesselation set to x16 in Radeon Pro.

dont have ANYTHING active in RP, no fps monitoring, no screenshots, no forcing

shouldnt be a problem, should act the same if it was open or closed

it should not require a whole uninstall

These sound promising for my 5700's, it's great to see improvements for the older cards still being incorporated. Tempted to give the preview a try but might be lazy and wait for the WHQL.

@ Yadda I'm running them with 2x HD5770's they seem to run well so far but then I'm not a heavy gamer just run games like Bioshock, grid, diablo II LOD, Quake III, farcry 1 & 2 and they all run fine with everything set to as high as it'll go @ 1920x1080p

No offense, but I find it really hard to believe :3eyes:. I barely hit 30-40 fps and that certainly does not feel smooth at all. What fps do you get at 1080p with 6850 ?

    I have a steady 60fps vsync on in TW2 + 2 x 6850 CFX @ 940/1100 ubersampling off

Had some issues of the cards only using 50% power with ubersampling on so can not benchmark that yet

But a tip for people using FF - With FF open (Minimised or other) my cards are only getting used around 45-50% power - closing FF gives me full power again and 60fps steady

Going to try ubersampling again with FF closed and will post back FPS

EDIT - Getting between 18 and 40fps with Ubersampling on but the drop in fps is not caused by lack of power, MSI AB is telling me that the cards are only using 45% power during the drops

    Maybe need new CAPs
