AndyMutz ---> exactly same problem i was talking about. So it affects 6XXX series too. On 11.8 preview still exist. This bug started from 11.6 ver.
    On 11.5b everything seems fine.

Completely uninstall your drivers. Clean the registry and other folders that the uninstaller doesn't take care of. Install new drivers fresh.

Is it worth using the CAPS if you use a single card?

Sometimes there are fixes for Single GPU's too but 99% of the times they're for Multi-GPU users.

"drivesweeped" = "cleaned whole ATI mess with Drive Sweep before trying to reinstall".

I created this word to to make my previous post shorter ;)

I wanted to play Bulletstorm again, but now there's that ugly light shaft issue.
Bad timing or just the normal ATI bugness?
And there's still shadow flickering in Gothic 3 (introduced with 11.6, if I am not mistaken).

Is it trolling if I say that I want my money back?
This is not acceptable for single GPU, since 11.5 I have too many issues...

Frame rate with witcher 2 is jumpy and hitchy all over the place :/.... I still haven't begun playing this game due to uneven frame rates. I guess the 6870 isn't powerful enough to run it at max (without ubersampling) :(.... BC2 frame rates however, are outstanding, never felt so much smoother before in a MP game :D..

I find that turning on MLAA brings gpu usage up to max...

11.6 on the HD4870 runs smoother than this beta. BFBC2 has a ton of stuttering in it now and has significant drops in performance. The mouse lag is gone however which is awesome! Probably going to give 11.7 a shot instead.

TW2 runs fine with a 6850 in 1080p and all settings maxed (except for ubersampling).

Dismal performance in BFBC2 with these, 30-40 bleh. Obviously CF is not working right.

Strange, I get excellent performance with these drivers at 5760x1200, higher than what you're getting. Most playable driver I've used.

    Checked afterburner and GPU1 @ 100% and GPU2 0% usage

Not sure what is up, they did mention a crossfire issues in DX11 for the 11.7 WHQL. Are you running dx11?

Still getting negative crossfire scaling on my 6950's in bc2, single card runs fine tho.

Looks like they also fixed crossfire failing to switch to single gpu and system crashing in darksiders, deadrising2 etc (will have to revert to older drivers and see if the issue comes back to make sure)

I had a problem with RadeonPro that was causing crossfire to not work. Uninstall radeon pro completely, fully remove drivers and run a driver sweeper, reinstall, all works fine.

That site is ridiculous! Sure you can reduce the amount of memory reserved for the kernel, but to sujest that a 32 bit kernel can address memory > 4GB is just stupid.
