Yeah i said it felt like a browser based game..esp when it launched. Launching out of browser instead of in game, super fast loads and very flat textures and jerky gameplay. I started off by saying i know its an alpha and they have a ways to go, but it by far doesn't feel like battlefield to ME. That's my opinion there maleficarus™..lol trademark that name. Before You start calling names You should realize you are the one being touchy about my opinion on a alpha build, very mature. I have over 2,100 hrs into bf2 (and haven't played in 1.5 yrs) so maybe my expectations are high, but I have been waiting a long time for this one. I want it to be a success as much a everyone else does. The single player video's look great, but the multiplayer is where it's at.

 

The shooting feels so raw! I love it. Also, no more bullet lag. Awesome

 

100% of mine at 3.5ghz.

Not unlocked it so can't talk about performance, yes it can be seen at others and if pointed at you it blinds you so you can't really see or shoot back, pretty cool.

 

Not sure of CPU / GPU usage, but as there are next to no graphics options and pretty poor graphics at this stage it ran smooth as butter for me, except for the constant CTD and Lost connection to the server every 5 minutes

I know its only Alpha, but with the build up of those amazing looking trailers I am more than disappointed to say the least.

I agree with the whole browser based flash / java game feel. Very poor, but thankfully a very early stage of the development, although with an October release date, I can not see how they plan on bringing it up to the same quality that we have seen on the teaser trailers in that short time.

yea i got lost connection too, also CTD 1 time well it was more of a screen freeze in game, it said its still running (instead of not responding) but i couldn't see anything.. so i killed the exe.

yes, i got 70-90% outside, usually it hoovered around 90ish % across all 4 cores.

 

Dunno how can some people get 60 fps maxed out because I'm around 40 fps here :\ (1920x1200) and GPU usage is 99%.

 

well im at lower non HD reso that's why, idk about the rest..

I hoover at 70-90fps outside, and around 60-70ish when i got to that "cave" inside.

Geez they need to release a SLI profile asap as I have a potential 60 fps @1920x1200

The SLI flag might be even hidden in Inspector somewhere. There are simply no profile for BF3 at all. Anyone care to check? I'm at work...

I get mostly 60fps everything maxed, in game and in NVCP




I like this, the levels seem a nice size, its still in its early stages, had a few invisible walls, where trees had fallen and disappeared, but once its polised a bit, i think its gonna be great!

I hate the fact it loads from your web browser...... wtf?!?!?!?

 

Well I feel like I'm getting poor fps... Any others with similar cards ?

Also, does it use HT? Mine is off.

wanny I'm sure sli profile will get you to 60fps , I'm getting about same fps as Li4m79 with the new 280 drivers but I think nvidia still have some work to do as ati cards are still doing better.

 

I would delete those screens as Guru3d can get into trouble for breaking the NDA...
