New PAX Creative Download section thread.

You planning on making a option in the installer where it ask you if you want the deeper bass tweak or not. Since the deeper bass tweak that work that well with all headphones. As it tend to jack SQ up for them. So I don't have to manually set the bass back to the middle in the bass treble settings.

 

I don't that could happen bud. Unless you know person can work with me on that? lol

 

What about having Two driver folders, one without the bass tweak and the one with it. Then having the driver gives the option to select one for install.

 

Well if I do that I have make another inf I don't think inf a would installed . Audigy Se driver afternoon sometime but it be out today.

 

Save a copy of the inf before you do the bass tweak and after you do the bass tweak. Simple.

Rob McClelland, Hi! I have a problem or maybe not... Some games with Creative ALchemy written in log file:

• Loaded X:\***\DSOUND.ini
• Native Device not default
• Using Creative Software 3D Library

What is native device ? How can i set my Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer as native device ? I have 4 other hdmi multimedia devicer from gtx465. I tried to turn them off but did nothing.
May be it should be if the game was native OpenAL or other non-direct3d ?

Sorry if I haven check this thread in while been busy fixing that issue . New sets soon . Open AL fix updated tweaks coming soon Flowwolf cam up with the idea at other site been trying hard make sure the inf would installed the drivers with new tweak idea .

 

The only thing that not working with the Audigy 2 drivers is the asio. Its volume is super low. While every thing else works as intended. Thats the only thing thats annoying me with the drivers is that asio volume issue.

 

Hey Glen I do audigy driver with correct asio path soon with ct oal too. I pm you the set when ready.

To clean up any excess files left on your system, you should use a 3rd party program to do this job (unless you've a good understanding of the registry) A recommended program to do this is Driver Sweeper - which is freeware, and available from http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/ or paid version at driver cleaner.net

To install the software driver :
Providing you've followed the steps above, restart your computer and run Setup.exe. Follow through the prompts until the installation has completed.
Please used register cleaner like tune up Advanced SystemCare iobit.com or crapcleaner

Thanks for those drivers, I saw them on the homepage of Guru3D today and I am gonna try them on my Xtreme Gamer to see if they´re better than the Creative ones.

edit: quality seems okay

 

Put alot hours get sound just right into the sets. You notice the audio creation surround sound mode is fix hehe.

 

So far, so Good! Seems to have solved a problem with crackling I was having after resuming from sleep mode. Sound quality has been excellent so far and I will keep testing.
