I definitely recommend to download and try it, especially those that had the BSOD issue with 11.6.

I had that issue with 11.6 as I'm sure somebody would remember me pointing it out way back to the prerelease 11.6's (that had the same Direct2d and 3d driver), and this driver does NOT, at least for me, have that issue!

    so, no BSOD :D

    I highly recommend them.

Interesting thing is the date, these are 19 June, which is before the issue was looked in to for 11.6. I already reported this via the driver feedback as I saw it as important to mention.

If some people still have BSODS with this, please report it here so we can narrow down the cause once and for all. For those who had BSOD issues that don't anymore, please also report sucess :)

Did a few runs of my games and all I can say is this set is even better than 11.6, ATI is finally doing real good drivers.
So far I´ve tested BC2, Shift2 and Witcher 2 by now...

BSOD with 11.6, not with 11.7!

are you using any caps (11.6 cap 1 for example) with those drivers or only the driver?

Do you have any issues with the drivers you're currently using?

    If not I wouldn't bother.

No mouse lag at ANY corner & stable :)
I wonder how will they improve it until the final release..

Definitely a good driver, at least for me :) I reckon 11.8 will be the next performance boost, this seems to be focussed on bugfixes. Thats a good thing, can't have one without the other!

Hope the word gets back to AMD properly that these drivers solve the BSOD issue :)

ok have done some tests and have noticed that frame rate may remain the same but 60fps actually now feels like 60 fps :D
have tested this driver so far with a crossfire 6970 setup on windows 7 64bit home edition all updates up to date,
another thing to mention is the picture quality of these drivers are better then all previous for me, seems like amd has been putting in the work on the development side of things with the software driver team,
so far here are games tested and all show improvement for me in a sense of i used to feel like 60fps wasnt 60fps smooth now its really good, not sure about single card users but crossfire nice improvements ;)
