It may not be the fastest rig out there, but it gets the job done pretty decently.

@DementeD That's a serious bend in your GPU.

^ yea someone at xs pointed that out to me :( i cant believe i didnt see this before, but i think its from the 24pin, it comes out of the tray like even with the card and then goes on top of it to plug in. So i think that was pushing it down but idk for sure because its not installed anymore.

Don't forget the soap, the foam makes the cooling so much better.

My first real update to my rig in about six months.
    Phenom II X4 945
    Mushkin Silverline DDR2 1x4
    Xigmatek Dark Knight

@Brebaz What do you think of that cooler? I was debating either getting that or the Dark Knight.

Media card reader and PSU came free with the processor and heatsink.

Stock heatsink next to the Dark Knight.

Had to remove one of the heat spreaders on the RAM, wouldn't fit under the heatsink.

Haha.... that's gotta suck..... "My first real update to my rig in about six months".... immediately after someone still running a P2.

Must say.... it's not often you see ISA slots anymore.... hell, even ribbon cables are becoming a rarity.

are you able to turn that CPU cooler 90 degrees and have it push the air to the exhaust fan out the back? Would probably see better temps and might be able to fit your RAM in there.

Look at the mounting system and answer yourself...

That stock cooler is from Phenom II x2, why didn't you get x4 version (by Cooler Master, heatpipes and whatnot, still completely ****e)?

There's only two ways you can mount it, fan up, or fan down.
    @wlw_wl
That's the stock cooler that came with the X4, so either AMD fudged up or something.
