I didn’t find something similar in this forum, so here’s my question:
Does anyone else get this message from Kaspersky internet security?

It happens every time when the program starts.
I uploaded it on Virus Total but the file (MSIAfterburner.exe) seems to be ok.

    Any advice is welcome, thanks.

Advice is pretty simple as usual: read before positing. Quote from v2.1.0 changes list in the readme:

    - Now MSI Afterburner uses previously undocumented power user oriented
DirectInput based hotkey handler. New hotkey handling mechanism drastically
reduces hotkey response time in applications heavily loading CPU. Please take
a note that new sophisticated hotkeys handling can cause some system security
applications (e.g. KIS proactive defense module) to warn you about possible
    keylogging threat

then go to the settings -> threats and exclusions -> click exclusions -> under trusted applications -> put msiafterburner.exe there, check all 4 boxes there.

    :O
After an app is correctly installed, I always erase the install files I downloaded to save some memory. This includes the readme file, so it didn’t came up in me to take a look over there.
Next time I’ll keep the readme file! :)
Thanks a lot for the quick response (and for sharing your great app of course),
and my apologies for not reading the readme.

That's not located in the install files, the readme is instaleld with application and the link to it is always added to Start menu.

Running KIS 2012 and AB 2.2.0 BETA3, I get no such warning.

    False positive?

The warning depends on your Afterburner and KIS usage scenarios. At least one Afterburner hotkey must be defined to activate background DirectInput keyboard monitoring layer in Afterburner and KIS proactive defence module must be enabled as well to warn you that some process is working with DirectInput in background mode.

That explains that; I use no hotkeys in AB, although I have all the Proactive Defense options enabled.
