I just saw the "Tank Assault" footage, looks nice but is technically horribly inaccurate.

I witnessed what a battalion of tanks assaulting a fortified position looks like, if I could picture a hell on earth then that would be it. Imagine four-dozen tanks; supported by numerous APCs/AFVs, artillery, aircraft and heavy weapon troops charging across a field. Each tanks is shooting three machine guns, a main gun and a mortar. The entire sky was just red with tracers and the noise was deafening, scariest thing I've ever witnessed.

The BF3 video doesn't do justice to such a tank charge, though it's a start.

^ I just fired up MW: 2 tonight, for a laff, and yeah still dislike it as much as ever, mainly cuz it's so unrealistic....big fake crosshairs and hud highlighting on my screen- hate all that ****..

 

A CoD game is like a cheap porno, it satisfies for an hour than after the orgasm you want nothing to do with it.

Battlefield is like a marriage, every moment is cherished. Occasionally there are some issues with the wife (glitches), but you wouldn't change it for anything else in the world.

Sorry for the corny analogy, but that's just how I feel

So the only people able to play the beta are the ones who pre-ordered MOH LE?

If that's the case I don't see much of anyone participating in the beta, MOH was garbage..unless several thousands of people just pre-ordered MOH for the BF3 beta key.

 

If it is a beta. BC2 and MoH simply had demos as the games came out in more or less the same state they were in beta.

 

I'm referring to the beta access to Battlefield 3, people that pre-ordered MOH LE got a Battlefield 3 key.

There hasn't been any mention of Battlefield 3 pre-order's getting a beta key.

I want to know if Battlefield 3 pre-orders will get access to a key or just these MOH LE pre-orders.

 

Will get. So far I haven't heard anything of keys that have already been delivered.
I'm just curious if this will be a true beta or just another demo run. Both BC2 and MoH had most of the problems and glitches carried on from the beta to the retail version and weren't much more but a demo with limited access.

 

Well, the Beta is only one month before release, so expect the same situation as in BFBC2. Those MoH-Keys will probably be early access (1-2 weeks maybe?)

They have to make an open beta/demo to attract players (for EA preferrably the CoD crowd I guess)

I wish they would make it like Naughty Dog with Uncharted 3. Those guys are going to have a MP Beta starting early July. And their game is going to be released early November!
Thats how it should be done if you really care for player feedback and a polished experience at launch

 

I'm pretty sure there will be other ways to get a key. There are key giveaways often when it comes to these popular games.

 

My clan will get keys as i know as i3d is good sponsor on them. Ilet me get a key and ply the game and moan and whine here to make u rage wanny.

 

i will be very busy at work, but i will ask beta key from them anyway.
at least i could try some rounds
