    Its better, but.....

Since after the 260.99, every driver i tryed, i mean, EVERY one, WHQL or Beta, i had multiple problems, ultra stutering, low frames, games crashing, control panel loading infinite loop..... list goes on, with this one, well, games dont crash, stutering is not that bad, frames improved, that all compared to the before faulty drivers, but still not as good as the 260.99, also, the control panel infinite load loop is still there, and i cant turn SLI on.
Resuming: Its better NVIDIA, but your work is still not complete, at least for me, back to 260.99.....again..... :(

Now a good news, im waiting a new laptop my aunt bought me on the U.S.A., Gamer lap with an AMD-ATI 6550M, 4 core cpu and 8 gigs ddr3 :)

Its two 9800gt in SLI, no hibrid SLI here, when i said i could not turn SLI on it was because neither i could open the control panel to turn it on, neither make it work via inspector registry hack, when i check with afterburner right after closing the game i see just one of the graphics of GPU usage go 100% with drivers that are newer than 260.99, with the 260.99 i see both GPU usage graphics go ~80% to 95%.

Best drivers for BC2 since 266.58 (the ones I've using so far)
Random flickering is still present, as usual, but now it lasts a lot less than before. I used to have 1-2 seconds of flickering (black screen) and now the screen never gets totally black which is great. I'll never go blind again playing BC2 XD. Colours seem more natural and accurate than before or maybe it's just me. All my other games perform perfectly as well. AC Brotherhood, Crysis2, Borderlands, L4D2 and Homefront. Keepers for me.

I don't know what it was about the 260.99 drivers that made PC's have trouble with any drivers that came out after it. I never installed the 260.99 and have not had any trouble installing any driver that came out after the 260.99 but you're not alone with the "gotta-be-260.99-or-nothing bug" cuz others have mentioned the same thing. The 260.99 drivers musta changed something unusually in the registry which subsequent drivers are not able to undo.

Hmm. List the steps you do when upgrading drivers please, perhaps we can fix this problem.

    For Dirt2 and Dirt3

Those with SLi or surround if you have slowdowns in cockpit view turn off mirrors (completely, esp. surround systems)

I saw this quote form nv forums and it looked interesting :nerd:

These 275.27 drivers are extra nice on CoD Black Ops with the latest Black Ops patch which was released tonight 5/26/11. Best patch yet. Better memory utilization in multiplayer. My GPU-usage increased a bunch after this latest patch.

Probably meant display temps were broken in the OSD in Afterburner or something.

    Never had that myself though.

I had same problem, AIDA64 stopped displaying my GPU temps.

The solution: in AIDA64 under preferences/stability, untick " Nvidia GPU SMBus access through Nvidia Forceware"

I just wish Nvidia would enable DD-TrueHD and DTS-MA for the 580 as that is the only thing missing to make it perfect for bluray. PCM is ok but its kind of strange when 460/560 do support these formats
