Un Freakin believable... “With new vehicles, there will very likely be video cameras inside and outside,” said Intel’s chief technology office, Justin Rattner, in a July, 2010, interview. “It’s not particularly new or stunning, but when you combine the cameras with GPS, you’re geo-tagging the video.” ''In other words, your car – like your smart phone – may soon become a surveillance device and high-tech snooping will be mandated by the federal government.'' This is the craziest thing iv ever seen or herd of...
I wouldn't mind cameras outside ... but inside really? I don't want people to see me picking my nose while driving =P deltatux
Sure, never a real source for the rumour, except a statement from almost a year ago, from somebody at Intel that it "may" happen sometime. It's not going to happen, just try to imagine the privacy lawsuits that would emerge from this.
Lol, that's what the indians do. No offense to any but I've seem countless ones having a REAL dig, taking their time trying to get every crumb out. Lols.
lol whats the big deal they put a camera in your car you put a sticker over the camera and life moves on
They'll never do it. I mean come on, noone will be buying "monitored" cars.. Atleast I won't.. I'd agree on black boxes that would record speed, turn signals, if the lights are on etc.. It's so much easier to see what happened after an accident.. But cameras? meh..
I have a 2004 Escape with a black box, so apparently they have been doing it for some time. It was explained to me that it constantly dumps data.Records won't show that I wasn't wearing my seat belt yesterday, but that I was at the time of impact. That, along with speed, time, rate of acceleration/deceleration etc. Still, I don't think there's any way for the feds to know i jerk off on my way to work.Oops..........
Supposing they made EXISTING cars install the unit, then were buggered. It's only an idea anyway and theres probably a 30% chance or less for it never to happen. Lol or jerking off on the way back from work having starred at the ladies during the day.
A taxicab driver was accused of jerking off while driving a female passenger from one place to other. He lost his license.
Thinking of taxi drivers, lol. I've heard TOO many funny stories about them.... With regards to driving and jerking off, how is that possible?
Put camera's in it and record the data where, on a huge hard drive? How many hours pass before it's rewritten? Does it just record the last hour maybe, records for an hour then rewrites until something actually happens (accident detected by triggered air bags maybe)? Having one outside, maybe but one inside, i seriously doubt it, huge privacy issues as already mentioned. A black box could easily record various driver inputs, we wouldn't need a camera inside really, would we? Not if there was maybe one outside and all the driver telemetry, particularly driver inputs. Black box that records driver telemetry, sure. Camera's on the inside and even outside, i doubt it. The original article says nothing of video and camera's.
Some cars are already chipped where if you don't pay it on time, whatever dealer you bought it from shuts it off remotely lawlz.
I work at a large dealership, and thats something the "dealer" installs on cars they think maybe be risk oriented... (someone that has a bad credit score and they sign for that person to get them approved and on the road). This should be something that all criminals have implanted in there cars or ID's if you ask me..
