There seems to be less visible jitter in Heaven Benchmark with these latest 275.27 drivers.

Temperatures, fans, colors, IQ all good.

The difference is what's being done with it. According to the specs from Asus his board only had 4x on the second PCIe slot so that's even worse than the normal spec would be. I'm sure there'll be several enthusiast-level boards with two real 16x slots after the launch of the chipset.

Any word on a real SLI profile for Shift 2?

i guess, but i had better fps before at least 3-5fps in lowest fps.. gonna test some more later.

    ---
    anyway about RE5 (dx10)

yea its definitely fixed and a nice boost too :)

#fixed benchmark: lowest fps now 66.5fps, before 62.9-64.3fps (depends on the driver)

and avg now 83.5fps, before 81.7-82.1fps

As long as a game is optimized for dualcore CPU's, you will see benefits from this improvement ;)

No, thats what LGA 2011 is about, most P67 boards are x8 x8.
As I said before, Z68 is the same silicon as P67, just better binned.
It has no extra features other than iGPU support.

Adding a chip to support x16 x16 (ie NF200) is exactly what has to be done on P67 to get x16 x16.

Asfar as I am aware, the Asus P8P67 Pro runs at x8 x8 when in SLI, not x16 x8. It's only when you run Tri-SLI you end up with x4.

ASUS' specifications for the P8P67 PRO:

    2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (single at x16 or dual at x8/x8 mode)

    Multi-GPU Support: Supports NVIDIA® Quad-GPU SLI™ Technology
    Supports ATI® Quad-GPU CrossFireX™ Technology

I wouldn't get my hopes up. Personally I'd see it as a 5xx series improvement).

The Witcher 2 runs exactly the same as before here (new vs. 270.61 drivers). So perhaps 5600Ti owners are luckier.

I can confirm FPS gains in Crysis 2. Now it's silky smooth in 1920x1080 on Extreme everywhere.

    Great Driver! :)

    This.

An NF200 has to be used if the board is to have more than 16 full, non chipset PCIe 2.0 lanes.

With an NF200 onboard, P55, P67 and Z68 boards can all feature two 16x PCIe lanes at full bandwidth. There are restrictions when using more than two slots, and the NF200 can be used to supply up to four PCIE 2.0 8x lanes.

Only caveat to this is that when using an NF200, it's connected to the CPU's 16x 2.0 lanes, meaning you don't get the NF200's 32x lanes and another 16x, just the 32x. Latency is also introduced with an NF200, but this is pretty minimal.

Downloading these drivers now. I wonder if there are any new AA flags to play with? Crysis 2 with blur free MSAA would be good. :)

Yet another **** driver for BC2 and surround. The same as every other 270 driver. Centre screen off to the right and **** gpu use and fps. Back to 267.91 again.

Well... just use Nvidia inspector and add the Shift2U.exe in the Shift 1 profile and it works quite well.

Yeah no SLI support for Shift 2 that totally sucks. Game was released in March and now is almost June great timing and support!

PS Still same flickering in Battlefield BC2 with SLI and DX11.

Desktop color settings via nVidia CP don't save again. :(
They had fixed this bug with previous driver version but it's present in this release again.
