Need For Speed SHIFT 2 Unleashed

I tried it last night. It's not impossible but it takes practice. Drift in real life isn't so easy either! You have to find the sweet steering wheel & throttle spot.

All I can say is pratice... maybe play with some settings too.

 

Really enjoying this, and looking forward to the next patch.

Not sure how good MLAA will look or run, but will be interesting to see, and the new "Max" settings should be sweet too.

Can you please confirm that the game works CF without graphical issues after patch?
I really want to buy this game but i don't want to through away my money like i did with
F1 2010.
Also about the wheel issues..?

I am useing G25 too and drift is just not playable at all tried different wheel settings car setups...

 

u need to stop saying drift is not playable at all when obviously it is.

guys google drift setups , copy one of them , then tweak to suit your own style , plus accel deadzones , sensitivity of your wheel , wheel setup in car options , the list is large but once u have it all setup u will drift

u can even drift the lambo lp640 if u set it up right and it aint even a drift car

 

Anyone download it off Amazon and patch it? Its still showing 1.0.0.0. I did patch it with the retail patch before this was released and files did update (minus the exe). They didn't update though after I patched it with this proper patch.

You need to re-install the game if you already applied the other patch.

Just a tip.
If you lately had a drop in performance with newer drivers and an nvidia card, theres a bug with the 3dVision controller that halves the fps of alot of games.
I was struggling into getting my previous performance (before i switched to a 3d monitor).
Using GameBooster and disabling 3dVision controller gives the performance back.
I was getting like 40fps in night races with my configuration and 58 in day races.
Before i was able to do 90-118 in day and 60-70 in nights.

Just disable the 3dvision controller without unistalling the driver and you're good to go.

Even if you dont own a 3dmonitor but still have the 3dvision drivers installed while getting bad performance, this may help.

 

car setup ok but I use same wheel setup for all games... I do not have much time to play so the time I have I want to spend it for playing and not setting faulty default settings... I like the game very much but drift is very very poor... GRID is an example of excelent drift on PC

If 'DLC' were 'patches' then yeah, hope they sort it. If not, I bought this game fully expecting never to see any post-release content.

 

well EA have stated that they have not forgotten PC users, and that there will be DLC..... fingers crossed!!

hi all ive just got the g27 wheel but it doesn't feel good at all in shift 2 could someone send me the settings best for this wheel and game please


ps can i ask a few things please...

-the brake is hard to push where as the acceleration is easy, why is this?
-when turning the wheel it feels like im pulling against 2 men trying toi pull it their other way how come its so difficult?
-how do i remove the table clamps so i can sit it on my lap untill i get a racing chair?
