one of the few real classics i truly enjoy, same here, a sequel is long overdue. :banana:

 

Just wondering why the framerate is so low. Are you using some graphical mods that are causing that. I would think your card should be way over a 100 fps. If you are do they make a big difference in the visuals?

 

i use a lot of mods yeah and full AA at highest settings..
High res textures, sikk mod and some more custom mods...

u see the ram usage? sometimes it is at 1020mb usage..so yes doom3 kicks ass with these settings but looks superb..HDR; BLOOM, DOF, etc.
And it OpenGL no d3d..

ugh i just had some really nice GTA pics but all the screens came out black....

 

The links and list of all the other mods would be great. Sikk modd is so cool.

 

i have this also installed..but its kinda hard because u have to open the pak files and edit them a lil so they dont overide each other..casue theres also stuff from sikmod i wanted to keep..

so, its rather uneasy...
i could upload my PAK files so u only have to override them. but i have to see where..i only have 130kb/s upload and its around 2 gb..lol

also theres stuff like POM..but i cant find it anymore..for paralax occlusion and stuff...

 

Did you use afterburner to take pics? Happened to me too. And then i simply used print screen and pics were automatically saved in the GTA main folder.

 

ah, really? i was using the evga tool... didnt know GTA had its own screen capture... seems like games are losing that feature

 

(Garshasp, via Gamersgate again - originally released in Farsi I think the language is called via the first - as they say - Iranian game development studio or team, not a bad indie type title though it is a basic hack & slash at heart, quite challenging too, based on a old Persian legend supposedly.)

(Also on Steam, unsure if the two are different or if there's some other extras or anything but they seem identical based on the store page info.)

(Still have to finish Faery and today Hydrophobia will also be released plus tomorrow there's Brink - though I'm unsure if I can get it decrypted earlier than the EU release on Friday.)

 

Anarion, haven't u gotten tired of playing the same game over and over again ? Not that I mind looking at your screenshots, they're amazing to say the least.

Those should keep me busy before Skyrim. I'm getting Portal 2 soon, it should arrive soon.

Is Dark Sector any good? It's really cheap on STEAM... but I've heard that the PC version is pretty spotty.

 

its a long game. and good for real. only thing is its resolution has issues..like no wide screen..or something like that. yeah u choose nay resolution but it looks like stretching if i dont remember wrong.

 

It's in my top 10 video games.Really good game especially on brutal mode.As Mr.Bigtime said there is issue with the resolution but you can fix it through the ini. file.Other bad thing is that there is no online multiplayer support,only LAN,but there is also bot matches which is "plus" if you are offline user.Idk why people hate this game so much ?!Not one of the best stories but damn fun to play =)
