PC specs released and I have to say that these specs are surprisingly very low.....disappointing ! But anyway at least the game is coming out.

Well, a couple bits of information for you all. Firstly, a quote from Randy...

Yes, DNF is complete. It's currently going through certification for Microsoft and Sony. But those with doubts and disbelief, the game is definitely coming June 10/14.

Also, released just this morning... the system requirements.

The demo better come out this month. And SOON!!!

 

The demo will be out before the release of the game. So, anytime between now and June 10th we will see the demo.
And remember, FAC members got the demo earlier then the general public. Gearbox have stated to expect a demo announcement "soon".

 

I'm a FAC member but I just hope they don't release the demo that close to release. I mean if the game is done, give us a demo please!

 

I assume it's only got dual-core support? Fair enough.

 

Btw anyone having trouble getting on the DNF site or forums?

 

They are liveing in fantasy land if they think that over 24hours they demo won't be up on all the torrent sites with the serial numbers. Why they even try to give out early demo to a selected few is total bs if you ask me. Just the same bs mental mind madness most companies have and they wonder why so many people pirate software. VIP users only get the demo haha sure whatever you say fools.

Look at the specs that are the min and max........................gimme a fricken break...............

 

And what was the game "supposed to be?" It's a sequel to DN3D, and every person I've talked to that's played it... says it's that and then some.
Will it be worth 14 years? No. But there's no game in existence that would be. The game should be judged on it's enjoyment, not the length of it's development.

As for the "port" talk. Really, go look at some ports... their system requirements are damn near always really high. DNF was built on PC first, that's the game 3DR made... a PC shooter.
There's a new interview with Scott Miller that confirms the PC version was finished when Gearbox picked up the game. GBX helped tweak some elements, and helped with final polish.
Then, working with Piranha Games, they ported it to the PS3 and 360. So yes, there is a port... but it's for the console versions.
