Flickr probably doesn't resharpen after resizing. CS5 does, called output sharpening. Here's a quick jab about resizing.

#1. I'm drawn towards her hairy arms highlighted by the back light which i don't like.

 

Goes to show how blind you can be with your own photos, i didnt even notice that until you pointed it out, lol.

Here is another, but this time with a little cross processing to it (that some people hate)...

 

damn it...I liked those photos till you picked out the backlit hairy arms...now its all I can look at.

lol...I still like them....but now its like looking at mona lisa with a zit on her nose.

 

i like 1,3,4,5. though i still hate how large that window is hahaha
good use of it though on #3.

also the new shot you posted with cross processing, i noticed a dress string on the bottom left of the dress.

 

Damien if that were in focus and adding a little HDR it would be epic

PCThug (despite the hair arms) I like this model a lot...If she were willing to get a little sexier could be nice ;-)

Heh me too, looks to me like its pretty much perfectly in focus, liking the hdr treatment too, you didnt go overboard or anything. spot on!

@PCthug: Liking that cross processed one you posted, i often fool about with it myself but that photo really shows how much better it tends to work for portraits. With the number 4 picture of the guy, his expression and pose pretty much suggests that he just realised he shot his knob off.

 

Strangely enough I like those of the male model more!

 

LOL on the focus\HDR Did you update this photo after the fact? Could have swore it looked more natural yesterday...Either that or my screen at work makes a difference...I Shouldnt have used the word unfocused, the building just looks a little soft. I would have liked to see a bit more detail in the bricks as far as sharpness but it could just be that its shrunken down, do you have a high res?

I was riding my motorcycle after work yesterday, under an amazing evening sky, and saw this mare and her young foal grazing a bit. Would have liked to gotten a much tighter shot, but I was maxed out at 85mm. This is cropped considerably...

haven't posted in awhile myself...here are some from my long weekend in Melbourne last week

yea Melbourne is beautiful, CBD is great and so many nice places to eat, great coffee everywhere and people are nice, so tempted moving there lol

just weather is absoulte crap apparently, can get all 4 seasons in one day so they say lol
