My friend said there will be a new Nvidia "Synergy" tech released soon. it will include new bios updates and driver updates for nvidia cards. Like Lucid's Virtu. Any ideas, links?

This is so stuoid to even say Darren. Microst soft dosen't test the drivers on every single game, to even assume this is silly. WHQL is not a gaming certification...

Looks like SLI is broken with these drivers including 270.51betas. Hope nVidia will fix it next month. Till that back to 268's.

Erm... that was exactly the point I was making: that the certification of drivers is pretty much useless as far as we're concerned as we play games yet some people on here refuse to use betas. Ironically, it was a WHQL'ed driver from NVIDIA that had a fan bug that killed or damaged graphics cards!!! ;)

Could you tell me what is the best driver for BC2 ? I get some bugs in multiplayer, with this one. Possible that i'm using x32 AA ? Pictures are in the nvidia forum at the 270.61 thread.

I don't play the game like I used to but I've tried it with the 270 drivers without any issues. DiRT 2 has never crashed for me anyway; guess I've just been lucky.

I don't use any monitoring software while playing except for fraps and even without it, it's the same.

My first nvidia drivers are 270 beta!
No need to change them to the whql right?

All users here: please STOP saying "my image quality is better with this drivers".

If we don't stop this nonsense now, more users shall be infected with that crap.

No one has ever noticed an improve in the IQ with different drivers unless changing the quality settings, so please, please stop.

These are different, if they'd just WHQL'ed them theyd be the same version number.

i installed the 270.61's and Dirt 2 wont launch. i did some reading and it seems its a DX11 issue? i forced DX9 and it runs fine .... i want DX11 back though! it worked fine with 260.99.

3DTV Play is still borked and I hate that these 270 drivers can't create custom resolutions to get around the 24hz bugs in some games (Crysis...I'm looking at you).

well when i tried it in dx9 i got BSOD driver_less_or_equal, never had that in Dirt2 or any game for that matter..

When i rebooted back to win7 and ran it again it started fine, but now it reverted all gfx settings to default.. I had to set to my reso and gfx back and its fine now.. :bang: stupid nvidia.

Although they fixed that 3dcam freeze (when it shows the cars).. Only 258.96, 266.58 and these 270.61 are fine.. all others have this lag issue.

And its a little slower too, meh fcking hate nv drivers.
