AMD Catalyst 11.4 (8.84.1 April 5) Win7/Vista/XP x86/x64

Seem to be fine these, got a small boost in Heaven, went from 42.something (or it might have been 44. something, i can't remember now) to 47.1, and in 3D Mark11, i got 5,245, so small increase there to, as im sure i got 5,179 under the 22nd March set, will have to test some games later, just to mainly make sure they still run a ok.

 

If anyone's interested.

2D driver is the same version, no changes.

AMD need to change releasing system...

Ignore Version, Is veeery common to do a Rollback when programing

So thats why 8.84.2 whas better than 8.84.3

Don't forget most beta driver are for test purpose .. or internal of AMD catalyst team, or send to AIB, software, games developper etc for test sometimes only one specific features, fix etc... numbers of the package is not allways changed in those cases. ( as this is not part of the standard drivers developement ).

 

Anyone tried Crysis 2 with these drivers and Crossfire?

But tis is newest and, ofcourse, is up to date.
I think, this version will be in 11.4 whql.

In crysis 2 I can't play with MSAA, some strange artifacts, but without runs great.
About ACB: rename ACBSP.exe to AssassinsCreedIIGame.exe and wait for crossfire profile

 

You know what, since i'm getting a GTX580 anyways i'm gonna test it for you I got nothing better to do at the moment ^^

Too early to be 100% sure, but i have test 99% load bug, and with this driver, it look ok ....

Then i have let the video turn 10min with 3 Youtube video at same time, still no bug ..

Ofc thoses test are too short for be completely sure the problem will not kick later but with this video, the load was going to the 99% after only 3 second of watch.
