right now 1920x1080, but maybe in the future 2560x 1440.

what about the zotac gtx 580 3g, how it performs.

    Thanks.

i have never seen any guides compare 3gigabytes of memory SLI to normal SLI so i couldn't say.
But really it wont make much of a difference for quite some time now until we get some more games that are designed for PC with full PC enhancements.

3gb 580 is the best card out there imo i am thinking about selling my 4 6970's and getting 3-way 3gb inno3d 580 hawk editions i am running 8024 by 1440 res(7680 by 1440 with bezel management) but there are also very expensive so i doubt it :)

a 590 will never be able to match dual 580s in SLI when both are aircooled. to reach the same clock speeds as 580s in SLI, you need to overvolt the card. so far most of the people who have overvolted the card (including reviewers) have had the cards explode on them.

personally, i would recommend the OP get something like the msi twin frozr iii 580 or the asus directcu ii 580 if you have enough space in your case. these cards use dual 8 pin so you can supply more power, have much better cooling performance, and have extra power phases and different vrms to ensure more stable power delivery.

    OK many thanks.

Just one thing, which config you think is better:

point of view gtx 580 ultra charged SLI

    or

    msi n580gtx lightning SLI.

    the msi cards are better.

the point of view cards are just reference cards overclocked. you could buy a cheap reference card and overclock to the same level, or even beyond.

the msi cards have cherry picked gpus, as well as a custom pcb, better cooler, better and more vrms, etc. the msi cards can also receive more power thanks to dual 8pin power connectors. make sure you have a well ventilated case for the msi cards though.

If u plan on gaming in res higher then 1920x1080 or in multi screen setup gor for gtx580s with 3g vram. If u dont (so1920 res or little higher) go for msi ligthing ones -best noise/cooling/oc of all.
There is a guide on how many vram u need for mulit screen playing and/or high res. just google it :) (so u dont think I am speeking nonsense)

    +1 for the gtx580s slied. I just ordered my 2nd Asus 580gtx myself. =0)

Also you asked about the case. I have that 1 and it's the best darn case I've ever owned. so far I've not found anything bad to say about it.
