Well, what a nightmare jumping back to Nvidia.

surround vision not working in display port.

surround vision causing games to crackle.

    no overclocking headroom.

Nvidia hd audio conflicting with Creative Extream Gamer

and last but not least, its NOT the worlds fastest.

ATI 6990 on transit and heading to birmingham england.

Ill post my thoughts on the card over the weekend, but im so disapointed that nvidia released a card NOT fit for purpose. its quiet and fast but only in a single screen format.

    i have proof of that.

Looks like its your problem only. Not common, at all. Btw i thought it was common sense to not install GPU audio drivers when you do not have an onboard sound solution.

What a BS comment. Windows 7 allows for multiple audio drivers.
I ran GPU audio drivers (HDMI), onboard and creative all at once with ATi.

@ Bboy-mass, looking forward to your feedback.

dude, if you cant be bothered to post a constructive sentence go and join another forum.

you could of asked before jumping on my post with such a bull**** remark.

anyway, as you cant be bothered heres a list of what i did over the ladt 2 weeks.

    1. fresh install
    2. loaded creative drivers
    3. i stalled latest nvidia drivers without nvidia audio/3d vision
    4. win 7 updates

no if you had asked, you would understand that i know what im doing.

Hardly, as long as everything works like it's supposed to. My onboard sound runs the 5.1 speakers and when I watch movies on my TV audio goes through HDMI on my ATI card...

  7. Huh, bummer, I wonder if others on this forum have had similar issues, I have heard that ATI is good with multi-display and such. Look forward to feedback.

does nvidia have something to align the screens with? cause his looks horrible from one screen to the next as far as alignment goes..
I know amd allows u to adjust so it accounts for the bezels to make a custom resolution so things look good and not cut from one screen to the next...

i think nvidia are using a software feature for surround vision (hence the need for 2xgpu) when ati desined there cards to run eyefinity by hardware?

    just a thought.

card goingin tonight, results on youtube and guru3d tomorrow.

    nighty, night

    WAAAAAAHOOOOO

    Oh my GOD

    Oh ****

    This card is FAST:banana:

    Ok, first things fist.

    PROS:

    Looks Nice in DA case
Very, Very fast in Eyefinity Resoultions with maxed out AA
Runs quiet on the desktop and down clocks nicely
Cooling System kiks in when appraching 90c (nice and safe)
NO and I mean NO issues with Creative sound cards
NO and I mean NO issues setting up an eyefinity group
Runs well on 11.4 preview drivers.

    CONS:
Fairly loud fan(not too bad) - but louder than 2x5870
Gets into high 80's when gaming

    Benchmarks:

    Unigene2.5

Double the performance I was getting with the GTX590
    Evens out in Eyefinity

    Alien Vs Preditor
Same as GTX590 (high 50's) in Eyefinty

Dirt2 (never drops below 60fps) in Eyefinity and you can set vsync with no issues. AWESOME

    3D Mark Vantage (Performance)
    P27102
    3d Mark 11 (Performance)
    P8610

    Happy so far.

Check my youtube (bboymassuk) for vidz over the weekend.

point taken, but i only care about advancements with my hardware. last week i was getting P25600 with a GTX 590 and now im into 27k

thats all i care about. as far as intel goes, yes i would lime a i7 extreem but dint fancy paying 700 notes for it.

    thanks, ill stick with amd.
