Gotcha, it is a pain in the arse.
A friend had to upgrade his PSU as his cables werent long enough to fit the other end of the motherboard in the CM690 as well (explained for those that havent seen the issue).
It was a cheap PSU anyway, so it did him a favour :)

    Thanks Cowie.

I'm going to see how this thing handles 5 hours of gaming a day for a solid month. If it craps out I'll definitely be pissed as I by no means am a wealthy person..actually far from it..on the brink of poverty...literally two steps above homeless and one step above living in my mothers basement even though she doesn't have one... :wanker:

I'm noticing an odd gravely noise emitting from my card while gaming. It re-symbols a wire slightly brushing against a spinning fan.

It seems to be less noticeable with v-sync enabled and disappears momentarily when changing video settings. When the fan speeds up while playing it becomes less noticeable.

    Should I worry?

    Here's a vid.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqS0e8hfuhs

The sound starts at 40 seconds (when I load a from a checkpoint on Crysis 2), the moments where the noise stops is when I'm changing the video graphics settings.

I'm not impressed with this cards performance on Crysis 2.

The mouse movement becomes horribly delayed at around 50-60fps and there is an issue with the water flickering.

Also the gravely noise has become more annoying since I've noticed it, while gaming I have to play with the volume up enough to drown the noise out.

Currently I feel like returning it for a refund.

Ok, well I think I'll be returning the rest of my computer parts as well.

For whatever reason I just can't get jazzed about video games right now.

Has any GTX 590 users experienced the same gravely noise that is emitting from mine?

I'd like to know if it's "normal" or if its the sound it makes before self destruction..
