To inform everyone at Guru3D that he knows how to use a keyboard....

I'm guessing he's still learning the mouse otherwise he would have clicked the browser back button.

I installed 270.28 and same thing Vantage freezes and its not even in the test just the end of loading screen for test one... at the same time ive been playing crysis 2 for 5h now and before dragon age 2 and np.... same with 3dmark 2006 and 2011. I even downclocked my cpu to 5ghz and run 100 max ibts just to make sure its stable

Ofcourse we all will wait for WHQL but at the mean time there is good point to try this driver hammie, i use GTX560 too and no problem all mygames included new ones like crysis 2 beta and bulletstorm also DA2 (havent try AC brotherhood and homefront).

I will also check 270.28 if i have time.... for now 270.32 is the best for me, vantage have no problem with this driver and so the rest futuremark benchs.

Pope-blessed drivers. I could wait for drivers that were blessed by the Pope I suppose. His blessings carries a lot of weight. On the other hand he probably doesn't know a lot about video card drivers.

WHQL drivers were blessed by Microsoft. Their blessings don't carry as much weight as those given by the Pope but they know more about video card drivers than the Pope even though the worst NVidia driver ever released was WHQL and a lot of cards burned up.

NVidia-blessed drivers. Beta drivers have all passed internal testing procedures run by NVidia in their labs. Their blessings alone don't carry as much weight as Microsoft's WHQL designation, at least in the minds of those who haven't found out yet that WHQL testing is probably only 5% as thorough as NVidia lab testing and is more like just a formality. NVidia labs certainly knows more about NVidia drivers than Microsoft does and they test all of their drivers well. Then there's that nasty word "beta". I certainly am not very enthused about beta software in general with the idea of bugs and unoptimizations (is that a word?), but this is different than software in general, it's *drivers*, and usually a new driver is only a slight modification of the driver that came out just previous to it so the change is not that big anyway.

Ah yeah I still remember those drivers that stopped fan speed and friend GPUs straight up... WHQL too. Wasn't it the for 6xxx series from Nvidia?

This can be acheived by installing the 270.32 driver over the top of other drivers you have on your system. This is a brand new driver family with big changes.

The newer Driver Sweeper contains Spyware. The early version suppled here "No spyware" is quite old and doesn't work properly with Win 7. I don't think I would recommend it to anyone because of these two issues.

    Just saying.

Just don't click anything when installing apart from the application!. No toolbars or specialist software.

    Since after 2.1

It asks for your permission to install it at the end of the licensing agreement. It's why all links to the creator where erased and he was banned form Guru3d, ages ago.

Christ, just opt out during the installation. Not difficult.
