Good drivers. Tested several games, and performance is good and stable on my system. Performancewise I think the driver is very similar to the 267.59, which is a good thing.

Now.. Let's hope someone can leak a 270.xx beta driver soon:nerd:

There are already some leaked 270.32 developer drivers out which are still my favorite drivers cuz of the way the Min fps stay higher than the others.
http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ has them for Win7/Vista 64-bit only cuz they were leaked. If you register with NVidia as a developer here
    http://developer.nvidia.com/object/downloading_drivers.html
they will probably approve you to download and use the 270.xx drivers.

The new driver that ManuelG at NVidia mentioned will probably be one of the 270.xx drivers.

Darren, 2 or 3 days ago there was news on the web that said the 590's release was being delayed cuz of driver issues and also said the latest "press drivers" were 267.71 and the cards were overclocking well.

So, that is why Hilbert tested with the 267.71 drivers, cuz they were the best ones out at that time and also they were the ones that NVidia decided were not good enough to let the 590 card release on March 22.

Presumably the 267.84's are an improved version of the same driver branch as the 267.71's.

Abiosis, just make sure you don't use the drivers on the disc that comes with the card. :flame2:

I don't know whether it's these drivers or the v1.3.0 patch but StarCraft II now crashes to the desktop at the login screen after about 5 seconds. The error is an access violation and Nvd3dum.dll is mentioned:

    Thanks for the confirmation, drewho.

I must have had a bad install then because I've just downgraded to the previous 267.60 drivers and the game is working fine. I'm going to try a different INF based on the 267.60 one I have and see if that makes a difference.

    Ah... how annoying!

I've just done a clean install using a modded INF from the 267.60 drivers which I know work fine with StarCraft II v1.3.0 and I'm still getting the same damn crash! I'm using the Windows 7 International 64-bit driver.

I've been playing Dragon Age II and, for a lot longer, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood with these drivers and both those games are working fine. Looks like I'm going to have to revert back to the 267.60 drivers for now as I haven't a clue why the drivers aren't installing correctly.

I managed to fix the problem so that SC2 works with the 267.84 drivers without crashing. It turned out that it was caused by the profiles or, more specifically, profiles I imported after installing the driver.

What I always do before I install a new driver is back up the existing profiles using NVIDIA's SLI Profile Tool (it saves them as an editable text file) then post-install I reimport the backed up profile. The reason I've been doing this is because I have a lot of customised AA flags and the drivers overwrite them with their defaults. Seems that the 267.84 drivers don't like imported profiles from the 267.60 drivers for some reason; that's the first time I've come across this issue.

or they used something new with SCII and your older tweak/override doesn't work anymore

Well they enabled power limiter protection for all apps including games in this driver, maybe that has an affect somewhere. And when you used your older profile that tweak/workaround wasn't present and made this conflict... or something among these lines :nerd:

    267.59 - DA2 fast, Bulletstorm AppCrash
    267.60 - DA2 fast, Bulletstorm AppCrash
    270.32 - DA2 slow, Bulletstorm stable
    267.84 - DA2 fast, Bulletstorm stable. Finally =)

PS. with all this drivers BattleForge have stuttering in dx10-11 (in dx9 its smooth), but with 182.50 it was perfectly smooth in all dx versions. Dream of driver where BattleForge will be smooth again in dx10-11, because in dx9 colors looks like 16-bit.
