    If that performance is true no wonder they had to drop the price on this card just hope it can overclock well with better cooling but as is its a disappointment if those figures are on the money.

    If the price is rumoured to be the same as the 6990 then there neck and neck,but if the nvidia overclocks pretty well which it probably will,then it may just pip the 6990.

    Its all about the price now.

    Remember the 50% voltage tweak that was advertised on the Asus box...

    Yeah running hot but the threshold is over 200 degrees before shutdown,double the previous 105 degrees threshold on some of the previous cards.

    Ill be banging these under water probably anyhow if i decide to buy...jurys out atm.

    the whole 500 series has a lower max temperature compared to the 400 series. 400 series were rated for 105C. 560/570/580 were rated for 97C. its fine since 500 series cards generally run cooler.
