I'll shall neither believe nor not believe anything until Hilbert churns out a nice juicy review. Hopefully that will happen in about 32 hours or less.
Lol thoses numbers are ....... 25K for vantage ? this is the score of a single gpu, the 6990 is at 34K+ lol ... Without saying the games listed are ... but why don't use the same list used by Nvidia on the 570-580-560 release ?
you just wait those drivers they are making tonight will have this card flying in dx9,they got the dx7/8 done this morning and tommorow will be dx10/11. then it will woopbutt all over the place.
Doesn't beat the 6990 according to Charlie, and will be more expensive :- Removed - please stop linking to an idiot.
Interesting,i will still wait till tomorrow until i make final Judgement. Even if it fails miserably i still am not buying a Great ATI card with **** drivers
:wanker::wanker::wanker: We have first prototype (11.4preview) which give uber performance boost. Second and third will punish 580, 590 and all green toys uke2: Oh wait - nvidia after this will release 680 GTX with overclocked GPU(GF110.1), but it will be from new 6xx series :eyebrows:
Not long now, I have seen some sites showing early sales of $999.99 up to $1199.99. I think this is like almost all preorder deals in the past its not the true retail. I would guess its going to be aroud $749.99 to $799.99.
as per usual, the card is ridiculously overpriced in australia given that the aussie dolllar is pretty darn close to matching the US dollar. http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/info/AL-GV-N590D5-3GD-B/ $1099... why the heck do we have to pay over $400 more than what it would probably cost in USA... when our currencies are pretty much even... but it does come with a gaming mouse, lol.
I'll get you one if you want,i'll even test to make sure its good to go! Shipping to australia is 60 usd it will get there in 6 days tops goig buy the last time i sent something there. offers open to all the australian gurus
hmm, i'll consider it, haha. gotta read some reviews first, whenever they start popping up. the gigabyte benchmark spreadsheet seems kinda vague. rather than quoting the P and X score, they should quote the GPU scores in those tests. P and X scores can be skewed depending on the CPU used. if they show us the GPU score, then we can compared 590 vs 6990 rather than compare the systems.
