The flashing started after playing for about half an hour or so, I was playing Dead Money. It was concentrated on the pipboy and any weapons in hand. On the cars in Dirt 2.

Others have monitored a slight rise in temp with these drivers 2-5c probably from driver enhancements pushing the hardware harder. Have you tried lowering the clocks on your card, could also be your unlocked card being pushed to the point of not being stable.

Just thought, that will probably be why you have to remove the Previews first, as if you try and install these over the top, they won't be installed, as they will be detected as an older driver than the one you have on, as the one you have on is 8.84.3, and your trying to replace it with 8.84.0 :)

EDIT: Actually that doesn't seem right, as newer drivers are always higher numbers ain't they, unless, its something like this, x.xx RC1 (or 8.84 RC1), 8.84.1, 8.84.2, 8.84.3, 8.84 RC2 (which does make this driver newer, if you see what i mean).

That's the first thing I thought and tried lowering clocks but with my clocks at 900Mhz it plays fine in metro 2033 even at higher temps than fallout NV or dirt 2

I hope you guys are not expecting the WHQL to have any fix for the mouse lag or 99% gpu.... This is a RC. Release candidate.
Its what they intend to release if there is no Major bug.
Its probably the driver they sent to Microsoft for WHQL testing.
So we should start already waiting for 11.5 imo

Hmm...maybe I should turn off every mod I had and run it again.

Yeah, Release Candidates are the drivers they send off to Microsoft to get Certified (WHQL'd) aren't they.

Maybe ever since Nvidia's card-blowing driver AMD's standards for 'no major bug' has been lowered. =b

But, tbh, I've never had that 99% GPU bug, and this is both on my desktop and laptop that uses Firefox extensively from the first Beta that allowed hardware acceleration (was it Beta 4?) via manual about:config customization and now the RC, and still doesn't have that bug.
I also use Flash 10.2 ever since it's in Beta, and now trying out 10.3 Beta.
Top-right corner mouse lag is still there, however.

Install them over old preview4, and then use device manager to upgrade the driver by forcing it. Worked fine for me, no real big changes noticed atleast yet.
