Well the demo features only DX9 with "Hardcore" and "Gamer" settings ... using hardcore settings at max resolution i get above 40 easily ... with gamer settings, i get really nice FPS too. BUT that's DX9, and the game, as expected, is stressing the **** out of it. I wonder how it will run under DX11 ...

I'm using the 11.1 hotfix btw

Using 11.2 WHQL here, getting like min 47 max 60 with v-sync on on hardcore @ 1680x1050 :D

for me it runs horrible with 11.2. 20-30 fps @ 1920x1200 hardcore.
playing at 1280x800 now, which gives me 30-40fps.
i also got CFX texture flickering (like the first crysis and BFBC2 used to have).
hopefully AMD can adress this before the game is launched, as i cant really enjoy the game like this tbh.

running @ 1920x1200 hardcore everything enabled, 50s avg fps. the odd hickup but usually when a nade blows up in my face or something but very decent for a crysis game, actually kinda disappointed to a degree..was expecting chop-city...or even hoping for it...i want more software that runs my hardware into the ground :D

..gives me an excuse to upgrade :D

    For those with crossfire setups,
try putting the ai slider to performance and tell me if u get flickering.

Im using 11.1a driver, and get constant 60fps with hardcore mode. Game is running and looking beutifully, and as I guessed before, the MP part is real fun when you get into it. Cant wait for the full game to get released!! ;)

Sounds to me like you have a strange love for badly optimized software/games?? Im happy that its running so good, it still taxing the system but in a good way. A game that is choppy doesnt necessarily do that because its so beatiful, but because the game developers spent more time to get the game as good looking as possible so they forgot all about getting it running well. Take crysis one, sure it looks good, but not so good that it should run so badly as it still does on modern high end hardware. Thats not great software, that is crappy software in my opinion. ;) But hey, we all like alike? :)

I just went on an empty server and messed around with the settings.

The game runs about 60ish fps at Gamer settings on my res of 1600x900. Using 11.2

Seems Crysis 2 Gamer settings run a lot faster than Crysis 1 Gamer settings.

the same trick as in Crysis2 leak, use Radeon pro to enable AFR-friendly cf profile with AFR mode, my 5870CF fps goes up to 105fps at 1920x1200 hardcore with 11.1a Jan26 drv.

I'm playing at 999 FPS, and Crossfire seems to be working

Anyone found a way to unlock DX11 in this, or is that feature just not included at all ?

I also installed it on my SSD so I think the only real hiccups I experienced were during the initial loading...since I typed that intially..Ive rebooted...and its pretty silky smooth...underwater....outdoors..indoors...heavy fighting...jumping with heavy fighting..etc.

I do agree though, the bloom in this game is kinda outta control...sometimes i even feel drunk looking at it...just cant see anything with it...but maybe thats the point...i dunno

and as for making an account...took me about 15 secs. no problems, hitches, signed up and voila, 30 secs later i was playing.
