Dunno if it's a combination of Gigabyte EasyTune6 wich is running in the back. Can't turn that off either because i'm controlling my CPU Fan speed with it and there isn't an alternative that "works" and works as "easy".

And the 99% Load is all random, because it took 2,5 days since installation before it happend.

I get better performance with 11.2 over 11.1a hotfix

    For example

Heaven Benchmark 2.1 (1280x720 windowed/4xAA/16xAF/tess normal and all other settings at default)

    Cat 11.1a hotfix..

    FPS: 38.0
    Scores: 957
    Min FPS: 3.7
    Max FPS: 60.0

    Cat 11.2..

    FPS: 39.3
    Scores: 990
    Min FPS: 4.2
Max FPS: 80.03 (nice max FPS increase)

Feels better in BFBC2,GTA 4/EFLC aswell as Second Life, especially the Bleeding edge viewer (Kirsten's Viewer) that has Depth Of Field and Shadows, with 11.1a i sometimes had a driver reset but with 11.2 its locks for a few seconds and then revives itself and i can carry on,to me thats an improvement in SL alone :)

I guess tweaktown had 'user error' lol <-- joke :p

Looks like the 99% GPU usage was not related to overclocking since it's not back any more. It's weird how it goes away on it's own

    agp hotfix

im using a HD 4670 AGP on one system and it worked great with all the hotfix drivers except this one, after installation and restart its stuck in 4bit mode, and Catalyst CC pops up an error saying it cant be used with this driver version. I am not new to computers and am wondering if the 11.2 hotfix is bad. Can anyone else confirm the hot fix version? Went back to hotfix 10.12 and all is fine.

    ut3 with everything maxed @ 1080p with forced x4 supersampling is faster, it was 45fps-55fps before on oc`d 5850 + 1055T @ 3.8, now its not below 60 :D

apart from the really annoying black screen flash 30 secs after windows loads id be very happy

bfbc2 maxed and running great also :)

    tf2 stutter gone

yeah your prolly right about it being crappy my mate's got an AGP HD3850 and his card doesn't like any AGP hotfix later than 10.1 after that things just go haywire specially when it was plugged into his 42" plasma

if it's just a ccc bug uninstall it and use the last version working on your system you don't need the last version with all new tweaks because it's not hardware capable.

They really have to fix the right corner mouse lag. It's terrible in starcraft 2

Did anyone find a way to disable Crossfire in cards like 5970 ?
It seems 11.2 doesn't have this option(I also tested with radeon pro but no luck).I really need to disable it because in some games like PES 2011,it causes graphic corruption in the menus.

for people having gpu 100% issue
i don't know for sure, but back when i tried 11.1 (haven't try 11.2 after reading the issue still there) it seems have relation to flash despite with or without GPU acceleration

but then there is Flash update to version 11.2.152.26 maybe it fix the issue
did u guys update your flash player ? (for people having gpu 100% issue)
i am thinking to skip 11.2 and go try with 11.3 or maybe 11.4 as it should add better compatible with SP1

    Hay mate.

I disable via RadeonPro with my 5970.
However I also have 2 profiles created for CCC2 that do the same thing should RadeonPro cause performacne issues.

Create two 3D profiles (Different Names Obviously) and edit one of them with the following:
    <Feature name="CatalystAI">
    <Property name="CatalystAI" value="Disable" />

You will find the profiles in the following directory:
    C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE\Profiles

I have two profiles called 3D Default - CFX ON and 3D Default - CFX OFF

    Hope this helps. :)

'k, sorry for asking a seemingly newb question, but what exactly does Catalyst AI have anything to do with Crossfire?

    Thanks
Unfortunately I had to roll back to 10.10(due to other problems such as 99% GPU usage.) So I couldn't test your method.

On cards like 5970 and 4870X2,disabling AI will disable one of the GPU cores.

tried the mobile driver of this with a 5870m unstable and crashes the system going back to 11.2 fixed it. Did notice the GPU temp increased fast in this driver and the GPU fan never increased in speed compared to 11.2
