    Some benchmarks to compare 266.77 forceware to 267.05 quadro. Just recently switched from 263.15 because I liked the sli performance and IQ of 266.77 a bit better (no saved benchmarks for 263.15).

    Default Nvidia video settings - single display performance mode - prefer max performance power mode

    PhysX version - 9.10.0514

    Same temps between drivers.

    -= 267.05 =-

    [IMG]

    Summary:

    266.77

    heaven - same overall average fps and score / higher min fps / lower max fps
    vantage - (-73 pts overall) higher gpu score / lower cpu score
    3dmark11 - (-8 pts overall) lower combined score

    267.05

    heaven - same overall average fps and score / lower min fps / higher max fps
    vantage - lower gpu score / higher cpu score
    3dmark11 - higher combined score

    As far as in game performance and IQ, they are both pretty equal, but I liked the clarity of 267.05 just a bit more in games while zooming or looking at max distances. Going to test em out a bit more (maybe get some game benchmarks up) and stick with 267.05, even with the lower overall fps in benchmarking.

    ** One weird thing to note with 267.05 was that my cpu showed as 1 mhz lower in every heaven 2.1 benchmark... :question: idk but not like it really matters. Windows and bios did not change.

    They are good for my system (playing Dirt2 and Dragon Age ATM). What is weird is it hadnt lost its whql certificate even after modifying the inf file - usually - in case of such drivers - 32bit dxdiag showed it is not whql-ed (because of modifying the inf), but 64bit dxdiag showed it is; this time both 32- and 64-bit dxdiag shows the drivers are whql certified. Not that it matters a lot... :D

    I was going to report back so here goes.

    I like these drivers, I'm under the impression the IQ is just a bit better even then the 265.90q. Performance seems to be on par with the 265.90q's.

    Tested TDU 2, BFBC2, still need to test WoW & SC2.

    Just use the inf from 265.90 or some other driver, and then just copy the driver information (date, version) to that inf and you should be good to go. Just install through device manager.

    You're probably trying to use a English-only version of the 266.87 inf file with the International version of the 267.05 driver or using the International version of the 266.87 inf file with the English-only version of the 267.05 driver.

    Or dont use the setup installer, use device manager to install the driver. It installs as usual, just that you dont see the installer doing the work.

    What means a inf modded for a specific video card? You mean, that i do wrong copying the nv_disp from the latest geforce driver to the latest quadro driver and run setup.exe?

    alright can someone please post a 32bit file, because copying the information from a 265.90 file does not work at all, i copy the driver information and date, it didn't work. Someone needs to make a Youtube video on how to do this.

    Or to make life easy, when someone takes the time to post a driver, and if that driver needs to be modded, please post the modded versions for everyone.

    Its not rocket sciense, just google it and you will find. If you dont learn how to do it, you will always be dependant on others to make it and we will have full forums threads of these questions "please mod an inf". So its best if everyone tries to learn? Listen (read) carefully, yes you are doing something wrong. Did you try installing via device manager?? It should work, if it doesnt work.

    In the driver folder there is a file named "NvCplSetupInt", try changing it to "NvCplSetupEng" instead (or vice versa)and try again. But once again, dont use the installer, use DEVICE MANAGER.

    Copy this from a from the inf of driver 267.05:

    [Version]
    Signature = "$Windows NT$"
    Provider = %NVIDIA%
    ClassGUID = {4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
    Class = Display
    DriverVer = 02/10/2011, 8.17.12.6705
    CatalogFile = nv_disp.CAT

    And then paste it on a inf from 266.66, over the old info. Hope you understand?

    Check your private messages.

    General, since you're wanting to install the 267.05 drivers over the top of your 265.90 drivers let me ask you.....are your 265.90 drivers english only or are they the international version of the drivers?
