This thing was an amazing investment for my GTX480. Its not only taken it from idling in the mid 60c range down to idling in the mid 30c range but also from 93c in sc2 down to 55c in sc2 with a higher overclock.

With the new cooler I'm able to get this profile stable in furmark on my GTX480 and it doesn't go above 72c in there.
    1125mV
    885mhz core
    1770mhz shader
    2035mhz memory

And here's the cooler in all its glory and in my somewhat dusty case.

So here is the Zalman VF3000F on my GTX480 from the top

Heres the side shot that shows how its got a copper heatsink with heatpipes mounted right onto the die.

Heres a shot from where all the dvi and hdmi connecters are, you can see that it sticks up above the 2 slots that the stock GTX480 takes up. You can also see I had tried to cool it more with the EVGA high flow bracket. That was good for 2-3c on a good day.

Heres the reverse side of the card, you can see that it has a nice one piece heatsink that covers the ram and all of the power regulating chips and components on the card and you dont have to glue individual ramsinks to anything, this is completely reversible if you need to send it in for RMA.

And heres the improved method of having it attatched to your card instead of just the normal screws that nvidia used. All of the screws have springs on them so that you just tighten them down and the springs keep it at the right pressure as to not bend the card. The knobs you see are for mounting the actual big part with the heatpipes onto the core, they too have springs and you tighten them down and it holds it at the right pressure.

And here's it in the case, doesn't look so big since the HAF932 is a monster itself.

I found the perfect spot to mount the fan control in the HAF932. It has a rubber mat on the top near the power buttons that you can lift up and there's a hole for a fillport for a water tank for watercooling, but I used the double sided tape to put the control there, its so easy to get to but hidden.

    Good,

    I got the same cooler on my 470GTX, I expected a drop of 10° to 15° C but instead it was 30° to 40° C drop :D

Guess the default cooling on the 400 series was quite crap.

Nice temperture drop. I'm curious to know how much heat its dumping into the case with that type of setup since it no longer exhausts it out the back. Have you seen a rise in internal case temps with that setup?

Not at all since the HAF-932 has crazy ventilation.
