AMD Catalyst 11.1a Hotfix Jan 26 official !!

AMD Catalyst™ Driver 11.1a Hotfix Features:

* Performance improvements for AMD Radeon™ HD 6900 & AMD Radeon HD 6800 series graphics cards
* AMD Catalyst Control Center – New Tessellation controls
o Gives users control over the tessellation levels used in applications
* AMD Catalyst AI Texture Filtering updates
o The High Quality setting remains unchanged: This setting provides reference quality filtering from AMD hardware
o The Quality setting now matches the High Quality setting in all respects but one: it enables an optimization that limits tri-linear anisotropic filtering to areas surrounding texture mipmap level transitions, while doing bilinear anisotropic filtering elsewhere. This optimization offers a way to adjust filtering performance without visibly affecting image quality
o The Performance setting has also been updated. It now provides a smooth filtering option that is designed to eliminate most shimmering while preserving the detail provided by anisotropic filtering.

Is'nt this the same Driver from the 19th of Dec posted earlier?
If not, what's the difference?

Well installed , Mouse lag is there as it is, like they said may be they will fix in next driver, and one ques there is Two ATI tray icon comes and goes.... does any body noticed this and sometimes mom.exe service terminating automatically when two tray icon comes weird... Gonna chk some games...

nouthing same just created a thread for official hotfix, why mix with WHQL official , plz continue Latest Official Hotfix discussion here mate..

Wondering why there's no "Catalyst Version xx.xx" for me? :3eyes:
Otherwise (as far as I can tell) all functions (like new Tesselation slider) are available and my card runs fine ...

Guess my worries are just for the faint-hearted, eh?

 

Probably because you cleaned up properly using the cleaner from TwL's thread or Von's.

Seriously, this is what, the third or fourth thread about the same bloody hotfix set. :/

 

I uninstalled through Control Panel and still have the same result of having no driver version.

@ xtremegamer,think u need to reinstall but do a full clean up,try control panel way first,if everything goes BiG on my monitor then that usually tells me it was a successful uninstallation

 

Did you uninstall a hotfix or a WHQL driver?

 

So, deleted support SSAA in Need For Speed Hot Pursuit as well this drivers for Win 7 x64?

yeah, unfortunately as well.

 

hmmm well Uninstalled twice, first express uninstall then restarted , and then safe mode then cleaned via driver sweeper, then cleaned all registry files with ccleaner and Windows 7 manager, then manually deleted all ATI registry Keys....

 

Here I found more info than previous generic and don't updated topics!

Someone found how shimmering fix works?
Someone has tested Tessellation optimization option on 58xx? I don't found any difference.

There has been two threads discussing 11.1a hotfix aside from this one.

so, you have that bug too...shows catalyst version 10.12 Did clean install and still shows that, atleast files seem to be right.

 

Sorry for my bad english,but I realized that I haven't been understood in the previous post.
On topic linked I don't found this infos! (anisotropic fix).
Someone can update original topic with this info and give more info/feedback?
