Lol cause digital signal suffers from noise amirite?

Srsly guys if you're using 1920x1200@60hz or less on vga, then there will be no difference in image quality swapping cables. It's like saying the gold plating on a $300 monster HDMI cable helps your blurays look better.

Any gain in image quality is wishful thinking on your individual parts. :biggun:

No mouse lag here on DVI,also recently switched and using the supplied HDMI cable from Sapphire tho at the monitor end its using a DVI/HDMI adaptor and HDMI port in my 6870 :)

I got a different problem, when dragging stuff my left mouse button will do the action of me releasing it when i didnt but only sometimes it does that, weird huh.

VGA at resolutions lower then 1920x1200 vs DVI is -BARELY- noticeable

Detecting it is near impossible, the only way to actually see the signal noise is to have res's at that are far, far, far higher, and at that, have to be on a CRT, as LCD's due to the inherent nature of how LED's/TFT LCD/LCD's work, it takes -TIME- for them to turn on and off, so the "noise" that would be apparent as a flickering isn't visible simply because it takes so long for a pixel on a LED/TFT LCD/LCD to turn on and off, compared to a CRT where the on screen image changes in less then a millisecond

Got the mouse lag with both DVI and HDMI... even tried an old monitor with VGA and had the lag. Very annoying as the min/max/close window buttons are there. Hope it's fixed.

I wish video smoothing was included somewhere, ANYWHERE in these drivers...esp for blurays....dvds are nice..but still...such a low picture quality...but powerdvd only will do it for dvds :( I saw it for blurays at a showroom..*drool* Come on AMD...:) plz? :D

..and Ive only ever used HDMI with mine..never any of this lag anyone talks about...and the only real problem Ive ever encountered was CTD in BC2...never OCd, always stock...1920x1200, maxd details. *sigh* and with these beta's, its almost a guaranteed every map...but they run like butter when they arent crashing :p

They're identical to the 19 january hotfix in the other thread, I compared these with the 19 january and not a single byte differed, they're exactly the same old drivers we've had for a week.

yeah...those are the ones I have installed now.....now if only we could have AVIVO doing video smoothing rather than powerdvd doing it for, instead, at a lower picture quality...:p You cant tell me that a 5850 cant handle doing it...seriously. :p
