yeah i'm thinking of that too unfortunately getting my new iphone4 and overseas trip set me back a bit.

I'm surprised that your gpu speed wasn't shown at all. Seems like futuremarks can only record down the speeds of hardware 1 gen back.

I still have some photos of these cards in my rig as well I can gladly show you my ebay account user feedback where I also sold those cards. I have better things to do with my time besides making up fake stories about the video cards I have owned, im not some kid who is just running off at the mouth. Im a 37yr old man who became a pc enthusiast probably around the same time that most of you were still wearing diapers.

Sorry but it is what it is. I love ATI's hardware but despise ATI's drivers and its a shame because im sure that with proper drivers ATI would win every time, thats what makes it so frustrating.

Anyway rflair I do have tons of respect for you as a member of this community you have always been extremely helpful, I have no beef with you or anyone else around here, just personal frustration with ATI. Thats it.

 

Overclocked whats that? I have not been able to do that since 10e and run dual monitors without this ati piece of junk flickering and making the 52" secondary monitor totally useless. These latest drivers are no different since they want to keep the idles down but my temps are the same so what is the point? Are they trying to save the world from gobal warming with a graphics card? Last time i spend money on a ati ............. i miss my geforce.

 

I also don´t have the tesselation options in CCC... unistalled 10.12, ran TWL cleaner and also installed Von Tweaks 1.3...

I checked under "advanced view" before anyone mentions that...

 

Nvidia idles higher on dual or 120hz monitors too. The 6970 handles 120hz much better than my 460s.

 

Do I use the 10.12 caps with these?

 

You can do, the caps can be used with any drivers

Guru3d's front page mentioned vista in the notes, i tried to install these on my laptop but failed so this driver package is definitely win7 only (as the topic) :/ Just waiting for some rma parts to get the computer running again.

I have Hardware physX because im using a hybrid nvidia combo+ ati setup and a special nvidia driver (258.18) that allows you to use both cards.

So in games like Mafia 2 ,Batman, and TwoWorldsTwo I get to turn on Hardware PhysX..

I also have a switch that turns on and off the nvidia card at will, on my desktop
