Some how i feel better getting my butt blowed up all over the place.
You did forget the senairo of
your losing to mec 100-20 on wake when all the sudden a guy or two gets in the blach hawk amitts the high fives and tea bags from the plane whores(lol) takes all your bases and usa wins.

You win by killing,if your playing as mec,if by the usa then yes you can lose the game by all the flags being capped.
The Golden rule of Wake Island..."Always defend the Airfield" its the heart of the map,once taken it adds a very strategic advantage to a good team who communicate and use it properly,although Vent or TS is needed to really enjoy this game properly as it was meant to be played.

Hell yeah i dont even bother with the north side at all.Besides the airport as mec its the south side you really have to keep to dominate
or it puts you into defending the airport too much.
I wish i flew more but i leave the planes to those that are good with them.
I just started playing again after 6 months so im a tad rusty.
i'm all team work die for the team kill for the team anything to win the round.

 

You, good Sir, are the kind of people I like playing with! Team oriented. Actually that's the exact reason I'm always, ALWAYS angry or frustrated after playing CoD. Very little teamwork.

Come to think of it, I've only made a couple of friends while playing CoD over the years, but I don't know how many I made playing BF2! Nothing like a squad or two working together to achieve an objective! :cheers:

I think iv just had a taste of BF 3 with that new Heavy Metal map in BC 2.
Interesting.

I would to see stuff like BF2's repair system kept.

 

I wonder if they'll **** it up like they did with BF2. Absolute idiots, why get a decent game (BF1942), then go backwards and make it worse.

 

i hope its nothing like BF2! but if it has to be more like BF2 atleast let it be a cross between BC2 and BF2. imo BC2 is a WAY better game than BF2 ... only good things about BF2 where player count and map size!

 

You obviously didnt play bf2 and if you did you got "owned" to make a noob statement like that you must have been the minority on the leaderboard.(jk)

Jokes aside how can you say that bf2 is only better because because of maps size and player count,if this was the case the MAG would be better better wouldnt it?

I rest my case,sales,word of mouth,figures,stories,peoples general experiences tell a tale of a game that came out in June 2005 that still has a legacy even now in 2011,its "never" been bettered(BF3 maybe) for its style of play,like it or lump it thats how it is among the masses of experienced Battlefield players

The best part of BF1942 was Galactic Conquest mod.

 

main reasons i dont like it is because of the dolfin diving, and jet whoreing. i dont have those complains about BC2 oh and the mic spam drives me absolutely nuts! i just hope BF3 is somewhere in the middle.

bfbc2 is good and graphically awesome but still got nothing on Bf2 multiplayer if you take away strike at karkand then i wouldnt play it ever

IMHO BF1942 was really really buggy/glichy and was not sorted up for almost a yr later.Fun thuo I liked driving the battle ships up to the shoreline and blowing everything up.Was hard to be a plane whore then plus there was a 100% free no sign-up bs demo.
The clan i was in stuck mostly to moh and cod at the time.

If bf3 has all this flashing point crap when you kill a few guys or whatever ala' newer cod/moh or bfbc it will be forsale in the F/S section real fast.
That crap dont make teamplayers and its flashing on screen bothers me,if i can turn it off then good enuff
