hmm, maybe. two of the 12v rails are normally assigned to your cpu/mobo and other components. each of the two remaining rails alone do not supply enough power for a gtx580. but if you use a 6pin from one rail and an 8pin from another rail, it will run fine.

molex adapters also suck. theyre generally not as stable as a proper 6pin cable. if you really want a gtx580 running in your pc, you'd need to use a dual molex to 6pin adapter, and a dual 6pin to 8pin adapter. personally, i'd say its better to get a psu that already has the 8pin cables.
Personally, if I owned that psu I would replace it with one that had proper 8\6 pci-e connections, especially for a 580. Looking at the connections, it was never meant support high end video cards. Just to connect both the 8 and 6 pin you have to cobble together two adaptors. I also prefer single rail, non-modular psu’s...old school. Just curious, is the 580 for a new system build, or are you planning on putting it in your sig rig?
