hahaha lol what can I say I have a soft spot for them mini review of some of em; HD4890 = epic card HD4870x2 = great performance but hot and so many of them just stop working after a while HD5970 = unbelievable performance when overclocked, but way too long (dimensions of the card), underwhelming upgrade from a 4870x2 at stock
Can't remember dates either but: Geforce 2 (can't remember what model) PNY Geforce 4 ti4400 128MB PNY Geforce 4 ti4200 64MB (when 4400 died from overclocking) BFG Geforce FX5600 256MB BFG Geforce 6800GT 256MB EVGA Geforce 8800GT 512MB PNY Geforce 9800GTX+ 512MB x2 EVGA Geforce GTX470 1280MB

Some dunno what, had 2Mb VRAM which you could upgrade to 4Mb Voodoo3 Albatron GF4Ti 4200 128Mb Leadtek A400GT (6800GT 256Mb AGP8x, dead) Gainward 6800GT 256Mb AGP8x BFG 8800GTX OC eVGA 8800GTX OC (SLI with that BFG) 2* Sparkle GTX285 Gigabyte (I think) HD3850 (sold, I dont think I even ran 3d-app with that) Palit GTX260 (In my brothers PC, but it was me who buit and tested it + use it when I visit my parents) Gigabyte GTX480 A real shocker because this was posted to Nvidia section.

Voodoo 2 on a shared PC with brother, in the Quake 2 days before Q3 release '99. After that, I think me and my brother had GeForce 256 or GeForce 3, or both. In my first self-built computer early 2003 I had a Sapphire Radeon 9500 Pro, right around the release of 9600 Pro. Even though 9500 Pro was only a temporary solution by ATI at the time, it performed better at the same price as 9600 Pro. It was the best bang for the buck in the mainstream gaming department. It was awesomely fast, I remember running Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion at 1024x678 at about 20-30fps with it, if I'm not mistaken. For my second build in 2006, I chose Sapphire X800XL. Unfortunately, it wasn't the red PCB version, and I couldn't flash it to a X800 Pro. Nevertheless, it performed well until summer 2008, when I sold my PC and bought a laptop, on which I'm writing this. It has Intel X3100 which is horrendously slow. My latest build has ATi 4870X2, bought used in December 2009. I will upgrade sometime between now and the release of Newton. The next card will be NVIDIA, it just performs stronger, better drivers, better features. GTX 570 or GTX 6xx.
