Enough already sonny. Thats like 4 threads in a row with you ranting like a premenstrual woman, if your on drugs go sleep it off, if your not on drugs go find some.
I've not read the rest of the thread but this is honestly one of the most boring racing games I've ever played.
Moaning too much, well I think he was he didn't make much sense, did he mean that the series of these games is making the world stupid?
NFS Most Wanted and Burnout Paradise are two examples of what I like. Ironically enough both are far superior to Hot Pursuit.
Most Wanted was great back when it first came out, tried it again recently and nowhere near as much fun as i remember. Couldn't stand Burnout Paradise myself, and this is done by the same developers, which is why i have yet to install this, even though i bought it a few weeks back.
Not really much of a MP gamer these days though, but will give it a try when i have people over, alternate people, so we have a race each.
What I miss is a NFS that actually led you to be proud of your car(s). Take Underground 2 for example.. I stuck with my first car for such a long time because of the customization you could do on them. It became unique, and I could tell my friends how I tuned my car so that it would do well in all the race modes. It was so awesome to tweak it on the practice track to get those extra hundredths of a second. This is why every NFS has gotten progressively worse for me. Nothing comes close to the customization that was in Underground 2.
That's the way life is. Some people think the Underground saga was an abomination to the series. I personally enjoyed them quite a lot, until they started to abuse the idea. Undercover was the breaking point. Man, what a terrible game that was!
I have a guess why NFS Hot Pursuit stutters on some systems despite settings used or graphics card model. I am not talking about slower dual cores or playing with 9600gt, I am talking about C2Q 9550/Phenom II X4 and similar systems with new graphics cards. Game runs fine for most time, 60fps, but at some points fps drop to 45 or so, stuttering starts and it feels like game is loading a new part of track or something. This can be not very healthy when driving fast I think it may be definitely related to memory performance. look at this: http://www.guru3d.com/article/core-i5-2500k-and-core-i7-2600k-review/18 Core 2 and Phenom II platform are far behind newer Core i5/i7. I think it depends on the way game is coded, but since I have not found a better explanation then memory speed might very well be the cause here.
Yea, for me the breaking point was carbon.. That game was terrible. Glitchy and piss poor graphics, useless team, less customization.. After that, its continued to go down hill. Prostreet was a step back into the right direction of Underground 2, which I liked, having no free roam kinda killed it for me.
not possible yet, still waiting on Nvidia to sort a fix. They have stated a while back that they are working on it, but I doubt its high priority... until then, i'm afraid your just gonna have to squint a wee bit to loose those jaggies! EDIT: i assume you just mean for this game, or in general??.....
With the 266.35's I've got it forced on at 4x and it looks great! To celebrate I just beat one of your times Li4m79
