Saw Tron Legacy Monday at midnight . - short review: The first half was good...

Watched Narnia 3 last night - short review: Simple kids movie with a straghtforward story. Good effects though except for the green mist.

    mad max

    i watched all 3 recently

    no 1- 8.5/10

    no2- 8/10

    no3- hmm 4/10

they all lack any real decent plot or suspense, look very low budget cos they are, but the cars are cool and mel gibson is in them.

    overall good stuff

    Unstoppable

    5/10

In Short: The movie seemed a bit realistic with all the stupid mistakes that actually people in real life manage to pull off but the of course being a movie there were some really crappy scenes as well. Not worth watching unless on Netflix streaming or the like. Id say for a lazy Sunday where you dont want to watch anything mind boggling.

    The social network was aight..

Not as great as people put it out to be, it sort of slaps you in the face with all the bs about uber nerds turned superparty, coke head, douches on which most of the film is about.

I only saw one "nerd" in the film doing coke. That was one of interns.

Just the atmosphere in the film is not believable and the character of the napster dude! OMG I felt like pulling my eyes out.

Not a bad film but I think they tried to transform what would otherwise be a boring story into something it wasn't.

I agree. Basically, everyone I knew who went to see it in the cinema were praising it.

I just couldn't believe it'd be as good as they said... turns out it wasn't. I wasn't disappointed though; I just expect everything that Hollywood spews out to be diarrhea these days. Seems to work for me.

About time I got around to watching this. Once you ignore that it should have been related to the Doom games, it isn't too bad.
Best part? The Serenity trailer at the start, before the menu. The random jump-over-guy in the fps part was runner up.

    Score: 6.5/10 (good movie scale)

Robot Wars (Robot Jox 2) [1993]

    Made in the 80's/early 90's?
    'Awesome' effects?
    Not actually a sequel?
    Generic characters?
Trailer spoiling the entire 'plot' of the movie?

    Sounds good to me :D
Having a character named Captain Balls helps too (disappointingly spelt Boles, but only on the credits). It only goes for just over an hour too, which doesn't hurt. Could have used some epic one-liners though.

    Score: 7/10 (bad movie scale)

Also re-watched Scott Pilgrim vs. the World a few times over the last week. Still awesome (9.5/10).

Saw the full uncut version of "A Serbian Film" -- it was pretty wild. Probably not one to watch with your mom and dad.

I read 'Chocosaurus' for half a second there. That, of course, would be nonsensical. Oh joy, Robert Picardo is in it. And Urkel lol.

Robot Wars, man, I watched those when I was a kid. Loved them. Especially that one scene where they're like, uh, all jumping around those monkey bars, one guy falls and hurts himself pretty bad.

I remember a game with scene like that...can't remember it.
