I don't have any first-hand experience - I've just seen this written all over the place, and I referenced two links above where this is mentioned. I could be wrong about this, meaning AMD's tool is pointless and for some reason the reviews were mistaken/lying.

I didn't add some photo editing filter on this. These were made with print-scrn ingame and ctrl-v in photoshop and they look exactly the same as the ingame screen. By the way, can't you see the MLAA on these screens then? Compare the yellow framerate fonts top left.

Hmm, yeah I just looked at your pictures. Definitely there, as you said.

But now I'm scratching my head as to why reviews said this wasn't possible, especially the [H]ardOCP one I linked a few posts above.

It works with radeonpro and printscrn, it does not work with fraps and msi afterburner (AFAIK, but something might have changed by now).

It's wrong. Print button does work. Some only in window mode and some not at all.

Maybe its not so obvious with print screen and in actual game it looks better and less alias than in picture?

Guys I must apologize in advance because I know better, but I have to ask :

I've got an ATI 5770 card. I would love morphological AA. What drivers do I need to get this to work and is there anything I need to do after I've installed these drivers ?

Sorry, didn't have time to wade through all the pages, which is why I'm apologizing in advance.

I have installed 10.12 and RadeonPro.
Its enables all the features in the drivers including MAA.

Okay, so basically if I have a 5770 card, I need to install 10.12 drivers ? And that's it ? Everything should be enabled after a reboot ? I just go to the Catalyst menu and activate MLAA ? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

My biggest gripe with MLAA (atleast on my setup) is that it messes with the new live messenger, making fonts hard to read.

So I must download 10.10e drivers to get MLAA on 5700 cards ?

It's a simple registry tweak to enable these locked options.

    http://www.overclock.net/ati-driver...853051-how-enable-mlaa-5xxx-series-cards.html

Very easy to find as well but I understand your frustration, apparently it's enabled by default so causes some blurry scenes in games, Aero (Vista/W7) and other 3D or accelerated applications.

    http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&expI...aa+regedit&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=957dcd876369ec41

Don't enable stuff you are not certain of what it does, some of these options are a bit more advanced and not meant to be tampered with, utilities like say Radeon Pro should offer a nice alternative however you'll need to create profiles and might need to have the program running so doing the registry alterations might be more convenient unless you want the other options such programs offer. :)

Also even if you can enable the options not everything works on older hardware, ATI did make MLAA compatible with the ATI 5000 series however, unsure about EQAA and for the 4000 series and older it won't work well at all.

EDIT: Oh right, for registry alterations to take effect restarting the CCC might be necessary, easiest is to use the task manager or shortcuts for resetting the CCC related services (Not the actual options in it.) but rebooting also works.

thats why i use ATT and set up game profiles... so it only comes on for that game.

So it's a registry tweak only ? No special driver I need to download ?
