Now Gingerbread already out. My question is: When HTC will release Froyo update for Legend's user all around the world? -.-a
Need some Nexus One love too, should'nt be long until my Rom is updated, look forward to messing about with new settings
Hopefully this will get released or ported to the Galaxy S seen as though its essentially the same as a Nexus S. Dave
But I think Galaxy S lacks Near Field Communication. Still, 2.3 Galaxy S ROM should be out soon, I guess.
I was excited this morning when I saw I had an update to my Droid. Turned out it was only to update to version 2.2.1. Oh well. I hope they will still port it to the original droid.
You're not missing much to be honest... No real changes to the front end or UI (although mine does feel a little bit quicker after the update) But the new features for Devs could definitely bring about some very cool apps in the near future
You sure you're running 2.3 then? Pretty sure the interface is different (everything is squared off) not to mention the new keyboard - which is dramatically better than the old one (imo).
what i found funny was that there was a froyo port for the n900 before most devices had froyo. i wouldnt be surprised if someone ports gingerbread to the n900 before most devices get it.
It's rolling out to unlocked Legends right now. There's already a build of Gingerbread on some phones from the SDK. The Eris, Hero, Wildfire, HD2, and Evo all have a Gingerbread build. They aren't complete, but it's a start.
Hmm apparently not. Got the update notification that said it was downloading 2.3, just checked the version and it's still on 2.2. Very odd...
