Posted this in another thread but here goes :

P7318, curious though that my GPUs sit at a constant 66% across all 3 during every test (bar CPU) which I find incredibly strange.

So far my experience with 3DMark 11 is sub-par compatibility wise. Graphics wise the tests look amazing and I particularly enjoy watching the scenic fly throughs.

My first gripe is the fact that I'm only using 2 GPUs worth to render the scene, there seems to be artificial limiting going on here but that's probably a feature of the 'basic' edition.

As you can see I'm not suffering from a CPU bottleneck.

Secondly with eyefinity enabled the whole program gets squashed up to 1/3rd the size of one screen, so I effectively get 1/9th of my whole display setup used by the tests. This is obviously sub-par as you can't really make anything out and basically useless. I had to revert to using a single monitor for the tests by disabling eyefinity. This shows poor fore-thought put into the program by the developers and I've seen it a couple other places before.

Obviously these are caused by my over the top enthusiast system. But isn't this suite for benchmarking a system like mine?

can not test yet with CrossX 5970, neither overclocking GPU,since I have a *$@@@ antec Quattro 1000, without enough power on rail to handle.

    EVGA: 2xSLI 580HC, 480HC
    Core i7 965 at 4.1 GHz, ram at 1600 MT/s, and GTX-480 at 900/1800/2150:

Hoping that SLI is officially supported by the time I toss in two 580 HCs. I'll be keeping the 480 HC in the system for folding/PhysX so I'm hoping for a nice high benchmark. Now I just need you guys/gals to keep off the EVGA site and let me order a couple... I missed the first two batches these past two evenings.

Interesting mate - you're pulling in an extra 400 on the physics test, yet I'm running at 3.4.

Time for me to kill some processes I reckon :)

A little one for Add just wanted to break 9K ..

CPU look to have little impact, way less when compared with the gains of GPU's speed

will start hunting for 10K then.

This is weird, I'm getting higher scores by down clocking my cpu from 3.4 to 3.2!?

    P5954 at 3.4
    P6035 at 3.2 lol

    Time to start investigating...

I do not understand, how you with the same CPU i7 950 @4,4 and just 2x5870 @1000 can score so much higher than me. I run the test with i7 950 @4,54 and 2x5970@1000 (means 4GPU's @1000) plus a GTX470 and my highest P-Score is just P7514

Guess, not only SLI needs a profile or new driver for this benchmark.

I have the feeling, that ATI should release a new CAP which supports 3DM11 and the results will make more sense.

When you check the X-Scores on Futuremark, there are a lot of really strange results. In this moment the by far fastest System on this planet is a Phenom II X6 1090T on 6 threads @ 4GHz and two 5970's. Aha.. :3eyes:

Before I thought a highly overclocked i7 980x on 12 threads and two 580's or three 480's should score higher!!

Right now my summary would be:
Take a CPU with less threads and older GPU's with less tesselation power and you should have better results.
And of course 2 GPU's should score higher than 4 GPU's at same speed.

Additionally it cannot show GPU and Mem-speed correctly, the compare function fails and I face the same Eyefinity problems as others.
Loading time of Combined test is extreme and the load bar stops too long (thought, I have a system halt!)

Man, this benchmark is not balanced at all. I heard, it was delayed because of making it more bugfree. .. still a long way to go ..

I started benching with my cpu @ 3.5 then 3.8 then 3.9 and i didn't get much gain as the cpu went up so this is not like 3dmark06 were you could gain 1000s with cpu overclock this new one needs gpu and lots of it.

Sussing my score difference. I'm getting a better score by running my ram faster, but cpu clock lower. Interesting testing for me :)

surely a bug with 4 gpu's, it's why i wait all is fixed before buy an advanced version .... to add i put AF and AA controlled by app (check this )...
( your 470 will not help your score, but can it make bug the bench ?)

EDIT ok i have understand what happend watching in detail your score, it's the Combined test who is bugged as with SLI setup, you have half the score you should have ...

It will be needed to wait FM fix all ( i start to think they have rush the release for be on time with the GTX570 )

    Wait a minute, that's my system! :3eyes:

Something isn't right, you should be getting higher than mine of P11312 @850mhz.

Edit: Taking a closer look at your scores, you are getting about half my framerate. Try removing the 470 and testing your system to see if that is the problem. I'm getting a feeling that the nvidia drivers might be interfering with the crossfire setup for this benchmark.
