just installed international version with modded inf and my ded.physx card showed up in the selection menu in NVCP :)

thats not all... got a boost in cryostasis bench by 1 fps and a sick boost in metro 2033. my average went from 36 fps (dx11,everything on high but no DOF and AA) to 48 fps (dx11,everything on high but no DOF and AA)

    deffinetly keepers for me :)

Yeah, I tried to install this driver 3 times. Always keeps crashing. When I got it to boot I get driver resets all the time on Windows desktop.

    GTX 460 and Win7-64

I'm also experiencing the driver crash issue. Maybe it's a 460 thing?

No issues here with a GTX460.

I tend to go through the long winded uninstall, then reboot into safe mode, driver sweeper, reboot, then i install the new driver.

Maybe try that, or try a different .inf

    Interesting... there is a [NVIDIA_SetA_Devices.NTamd64.6.2] section in the inf.. 6.2, I wonder if that's W7 SP1.

check one page back ;) its for win8

lol yea i see the same difference in FFXIV benchmark with quadro drivers, yea its almost to sharp :D

i saw similar boost with 263.06tesla in MafiaII gained around 7fps on avg

    47fps vs 43fps with 258.96 (phsyx medium) and the biggest differece was in lowest fps almost at the end of the benchmark where it blows the glass outside it was around 28fps (258.96) now 39fps (263.06tesla);

although i didnt try it with this 265.90 quadro yet..but if you saw the same boost in physx games, then it should be the same like with 263.06 :nerd:

Tested driver sweaper. Install was fine after that, but after booting with new driver, it keept crashing on windows desktop. driver resets.

So there seems to be a big problem on my configuration with this driver. back to 263.09.

btw driver sweaper even deletes the unpacked drivers in my nvidia temp folder. What a piece of software...wanted to keep those files. :(

Change the SLI profile to Alternate Frame Rendering 2 for Black Ops in the NV CP. This helped me quite a bit.

Is that setting only available for SLI users?

Yes, it is a SLI-Setting. Doesn't affect single GPU users.

Nah that 263.06 wasnt so good for me. To sum it up the only good thing about 260.xx drivers was the increase in gpu usage in BF:BC2... nothing more.

This 265.90 quadro completely removed stuttering I had in mafia II and in its benchmark. With older 260.xx drivers I got 50-48 fps average and with these I get 53-54 fps.

Also fluidmark now works properly for me. GPU usage went up to ~50%-60% on dedicated physx gpu. getting ~60-70 fps with no ded.physx card and ~90-100 fps with ded.physx card. With earlyer 260.xx it was ~30%.

Later tooday will try BF:BC2 and see how it performs. Since 260.xx drivers my fps and usage went up in this game. From 44+ fps to 55-60 fps, and from ~50% usage to ~80-90%. Hope it stayes that way with these.

theres also the entry "NVIDIA_WIN8 = "NVIDIA " " (without the extra quotations marks) at the bottom of the inf :)

OT, drivers installed fine on my 9600GT once i modded my inf, going to run a few tests in a minute.
