Yep I did. Had the 5870's over a year, and I havnt had an nvidia card since my 8800's so I facied a change. I actually got a v.good deal in the end on my 5870's - made about £150 after buying the 580. Still debating if/when to get a second to SLI. How are yours treating you?

Huum when it come to the top, i like most the Acetal version...

I got 2 EK Full nickel + Acetal top for my 5870 .. solid waterblock... 5°C Delta idle/full temp ... ( overclocked, CFX + CPU in the loop ) .. the screenshot on EK don't see it, but the nickel parts are pure mirrors ( never see better ).

Will see how they goes with my new Koolance 450x2 dual res bay + D5 (MCP655 ) next week when i got it.. ( my EK pump is a bit low with 3 waterblock )

yeah, I always used to go for the acetal tops until I got my UD7 mobo block which i could only get hold of as a nikel clear top. But with my blue fluid going through it, OMG it looks incredible! that converted me to clear tops LOL! Ive actually toyed with the idea of replacing my swiftech GTZ with a nikel EK Supreme HF just to match it all out. I also heard they perform v. nicely :)

Started o/cing the 580. This is at 850mhz core, which I think is the highest I will go on air as temps were touching 90 degrees. Still, not a bad run for single GPU. Im gonna clock this 980x back up to 4.6ghz for a run too :)

Sorry .. Cannot test Extreme preset .. My screen is maxed at 1920x1080 and x-preset needs x1200 ..

    But i just checked on HWBOT: I would be #4 for i7 950 and far No1 for i7 950 under H2O !! Epic score ! :)

    So far for today :)

    :tomcat:

edit: Now it is official and I rank as #3 for Core i7 950 Overall in Vantage!
Funny as it is, Team Finnland had now to move to rank #4 even they have benched this CPU with LN2 @5.185MHz and have used the same graphic cards. I did use watercooling only @ 4.542MHz and scored 220 points higher.

    You can check here

And yeah: by far highest E-Score (E91504) and P-Score (P52634) both incl. PhysX for i7 950 on 3DMark-website

Great stuff and good fun :bounce:!
